Barnes Courtney is truly a gifted entertainer and musician. He didn't miss a beat and has an absolute wile energy to him. Everyone was fully engaged in every song her performed. I truly hope (and do think) that he will make it big!
What a show! Barns rocked the hell out of this venue! I look forward to seeing him next year in a much bigger place!
Both the Hunna and Barns Courtney were great! They are both born entertainers. Highly recommend both bands
Barns Courtney is a star in the making. His energy was electric and his talent impressive! The sound however was horrible - it was hard to hear him especially when he sings in that low baritone range. Not sure if this was the fault of Newport or his own sound guys.
Excellent musician, cares about his fans, sings his pants off & not bad on the guitar & piano.
Barns Courtney is one of the most talented musicians I have ever seen. His showmanship was astonishing and you felt right at home because he spoke to the crowd and even brought a kid up on stage to play guitar during one of his songs! Truly unforgettable. And he did a meet and greet afterwards which I thought was very nice of him. He is genuinely one of the sweetest, wholesome humans I have ever met. I cannot wait to see him again the next time he’s in town!
Barns Courney put on an amazing show despite the fact that he was recovering from an illness. His opening act, Craig Stickland, was also inspired. I've been to the Foundry space at the Fillmore a few times, and every time I've been there, the experience has been great. You get to see talented acts in a small venue. Its industrial history and decor only add to the experience.
Barns Courtney had one of the best shows I have ever seen. I wish I could go back and see him again!!!
This was my first time at the Foundry and it was a great show! Venue was excellent, with a great sound and feel. The show wasn’t sold out and we were so close to the stage. Barns burnt it down and put on a great performance!
He puts on a high energy show with all of his amazing songs. He has a great interaction with the audience. He talked with everyone after the show.
My friend walked out saying, "That was the best concert I have ever been to." That is not an understatement either. This venue provides such an intimate concert setting and Barnsy did not disappoint! He started the show by walking out on crutches because he has a boot on from breaking his foot. That's when we knew we were in for a treat. He sang his emotions into every lyric and danced every second he could. (Yes, he danced. On one foot. Becuase he is awesome.) After the show, he even came out on his crutches and met all the fans at the merch table and talked to them. Needless to say, I made my friend a huge fan of Barns by making him come to this show with me.
Everything about this concert was phenomenal! Great stage performance, very in tune with with audience, and all this while hopping on one leg due to a broken foot.
I really hope Barns Courtney gets big one day. He definitely deserves it. His vocal ability is incredible and he performed the show and interacted with the audience all on one broken leg. It didn't stop him from putting on a killer show. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
even with a broken foot my man still killed it. 10/10 stage presence. 10/10 music. but @ whoever stole my boyfriend's hat: ur an a**hole.
Never heard of Foxtrax but they were great. Then Barns was amazing. People weren't too rowdy. Bathrooms were clean. Place was lit.
Really talented singer and great energy. 3rd time I've seen him and was really excited by the sounds of his newer (yet to be realeased) songs. There is more diversity to them. Can't wait for a full album release.
Barns was incredibly energetic and charismatic . He had enthusiasm for the crowd and passion for the music.

Barns Courtney (and his opening act, Foxtrax) put on a phenomenal show. Not only was their music wonderful, but they engaged the audience and made themselves available to meet with fans after the show was complete. The A&R Music Bar provided a unique and intimate atmosphere. However, the sound person was very rude during the single interaction we had with him. A member of the opening act even commented later on this individual's attitude and condescension. He is the only reason this is not a five star review.
Barns is getting big. He's intense and passionate about music and it shows. Before there's too many people to dance, you have to see him live. It's just the way it is. He's playing venues more available to audiences for now but it's only a matter of (a very short) time. He's incredibly personable and loves the crowd. Not to mention he's a phenomenal musician. A must-see.
