The whole night was amazing! Great venue, great entertainment and all for a great cause!
It was a great show for a great cause. I saw the first one and the second one and I cannot wait for the third show for a fire relief victims
Although a fund raiser, RHCP played fabulously and was a long set with their hits.
Awesome line up on a beautiful night for a good cause! Rancid was on point , Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds mellow acoustic set to Metallica's explosive ending. Good to see the Giants organization and the community coming together to honor first responders and those hurt from the recent fires.
We went to see Dead & Company buy loved Metallica. This concert made 8 Dead shows for us this year. Dead & Company were about to tour on the East coast and I thought it really showed Bay Area support for them to play for a good cause. Oteil even cancelled a show in New York city that night to play and support this worthy cause. When the Dead were playing there was a couple hundred people down on the field dancing in a big area all together. Lovin' life. It was my first time at this venue and I will definitely go there again. Liked the first two acts but not a big rap fan. Koudos go to the stage crews who kept the vibe going by breaking down and setting up the next band in only 10 minutes..UNBELIEVABLE. Weather..GREAT. Sound GREAT..The people of the Bay Area coming together for a night of Music and a Cause to help the victims of this tragedy...Priceless. Rode the Larkspur ferry right to the stadium and back. All in all a GREAT night
It was nice to see Metallica and The Dead playing together. Both local bands of SF
Super awesome show, the community spirit was high and the bands were excellent. No problems at all with tickets. AT&T Park could have done better with the sound in the bleachers but all in all a great time! Mikey B
Went to the Band Together Bay Area show with my 11 year old for a worthy cause and good music. I bought an Impark parking pass for Lot 30 at Pier 30 prior to the show for $14. The lot was just a little over half a mile from the venue and a straight shot on the Embarcadero. The weather was perfect and the venue was beautiful. It was the first time for us to visit AT&T Park. It was an eclectic group of musicians and all were amazing. I went mainly for Dave & Tim but the magical moment for me was when Dead & Company hit the stage. It was one long jam seguing into each song that lasted almost an hour. Amazingly they fit 6 songs into the set. Metallica killed it during their time on stage. It felt like a blast from the past and man they were in the zone! Since the parking was for an "event" the lot gives you an hour after the show to leave the lot. My pass was for 4-11pm and I had to leave the lot by midnight without incurring extra fees or being towed. I recommend parking close to the entrance due to a review that said their car was broken into including a photo of the shattered window. The freeway was only a few blocks away and easy to find. It was the perfect night in the city.
Metallica always will remain the best band out there specially live
My father-in-law and I had a wonderful time in the GA field standing area. Music was amazing and Metallica blew our hair back (first time seeing them electric!). The respect and appreciation paid to first responders and victims of the North Bay Fires was palatable and healing. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the sound mix for Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds (who was the act I was most excited for). You could barely hear Dave's guitar at all for the entire set. I thought maybe it was where we were standing and when I watched it as televised on YouTube the next morning, the mix was the same (very difficult to hear Dave). That was my only disappointment -- otherwise -- GREAT SHOW!!!
Show was amazing. Best atmosphere, great performances, all around good time. For a great cause.
I enjoyed most of the music, Dead and Company, Raphael Saadig and G Easy. Dave Matthews was terrible and Metallica was too loud.. The seats at Att&T were the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. My back hurt for several days after the concert.
Great show for a really great cause! Enjoyed all the acts especially the headliner. They were all great and I admire them for joining the cause.
This was an amazing evening, with multiple bands and performers coming out to raise money for the victims of the North Bay Fire Relief (California wild fires). Many thanks to all of the performers and Bands, most notably, Rafael Saadiq, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Dead & Company (feat. John Mayer), and of course, Metallica. The music was amazing, and the event raised over $17M for relief efforts. Also, a huge shout out goes to the first responders and volunteers who have done so much for those affected by this tragedy.
Metallica has always been my all Time favorite band... Their music has helped me through a lot of things.. And for them and others to put on a benefit for my hometown and others burning... It was quite special. Me and my fiancé went.. It was amazing.. Blew us away. (Besides losing my wallet and getting in a bad car accident on the way home)
This was more like a festival than a concert with multiple big name bands and singers showing up for an important cause. Grateful Dead came unannounced as did John Mayer who played multiple sets with them. Dave Matthews was phenomenal as usual and to have the night end with Metallica...whoa. Powerful. The venue rating deserves 10 stars
Oh my god I am now an avid fan. Could not believe their sound. I heart Metallica absolutely forever.
Great bands for a great cause. Proceeds to go to TPERF Helping those impacted by the Northern California wildfires & a thank you to the first responders & support personnel. Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Dead & Company, G Eazy, Rapael Saadiq, Rancid!!! Met a couple impacted by the fire from Forestville though we were strangers we became neighbors. Many of those impacted are in rural areas and a reminder how fast a wildfire can destroy homes & lives God Bless all those who struggled & struggle after the fires to our North & South. Also our hearts go out to hurricane, flood & earthquake victims. “The future’s uncertain & the end is always near” & yet we smile through our heartache & uncertainty & rage against powerful forces & hope to live to see another day.
Very Good time, with my friends and family!! Always enjoy a good show with Metallica and company. 3 star because of the overcrowding and pushing upon leaving At&T park, poor security to help with people of disabilities, such as myself. Unfair and unsafe, i case of the event of an Emergency. Thank You.
Sound from top View was not very good. Metallica is my favorite band, and I've always been obsessed with them. This was my first time seeing them live, and it wasn't what I expected. The sound was not very good from the View level, and I wish I could hear everything like the guitars, and especially the guitar solos, which were unhearable. Not worth the money if this is the typical Metallica show, which I don't think it is, but it was my first time seeing them, and I'm a bit disappointed.
