Loved the energy of the show!!! Wish the show was more colorful, had more color. It seems like that first part of the show was dark, all the dancers' costumes were black and the stage had no decorations/props. Second part of the show was better, had more colorful costumes.
Though the dancers in the show are outstanding, the "Star" professionals didn't contribute much at all. I was surprised that much of the dancing was done in jeans and practice wear! The men were almost always dressed in black, making them almost "disappear" on that enormous stage. The projected kaleidoscope backgrounds were unrelated, distracting, and they made the dancers difficult to appreciate. Close ups of the dancers or some pertinent scenery would have been better. The "audience involvement, turn-up-the house light" segments were long and really corny. They broke the flow of the show and were a big time-waster to me and my friends. I have seen many seriously staged dance productions and this was the most un-professional ever! Too bad for all of that talent!
I took my wife as a valentine's gift. We went to dinner first, & then to the event. This is not really my favorite thing to do, as I was mainly doing this for my wife, & being a good sport. The cast from dancing with the stars was unbelieveable! They looked great, were very personable, & the dancing was awesome! I think I ended up having a better time than my wife. I would definitely go again, & would pay more for better seats next time. I could hardly wait to tell my friends about it who were feeling sorry for me to have to go in the first place. A must see!!
Non-stop action---wonderful performers----would see it again in a heartbeat!!
To celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary we had purchased tickets to see the show Ballroom with a twist, in Appleton on Feb10th. We both are fans of the show Dancing with the stars on ABC so this was a good chance for us to see Tony and Sharyl live on the stage. We enjoyed the entire show a lot. The best part was that both Tony and Sheryl made an announcement about our anniversary and greeted us from the stage and all the specteters joined them.this was the most Unforgetful experience of our life.
I loved the show! I'll definitely go again when this show comes back to town.

Very entertaining! Enjoyed the mix of "Dancing with the Stars,", So You Think You Can Dance", and "American Idol" entertainers,
It was not worth the price. I went to a show in California that was far more entertaining than Ballroom with a Twist, and it was almost half the price. It reminded me of a school production. Sorry.
Ballroom with a twist had a good mix of ballroom as well as other styles of dance such as contemporary, jazz, hip hop and breaking. They also had a couple of singers from American idol. It added up to a very entertaining night of dance and music!!
My wife was VERY DISAPPOINTED. No change of scenery, boring back drops, and repetitive choreography. Don't care about IDOL winners, or SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE PARTICIPANTS. There should have been more pros. We left at intermission. Had NO DESIREto see anymore. :(
The show was very good. Loved the Q&A with the pro dancers from DWTS. The singers from American Idol were also very good. My only complaint was with the venue. They would not allow any pictures to be taken. I can understand this with a play, but not this type of show. I was at the Hard Rock Northfield the week before for the DWTS Live show and we were allowed to take pictures there without a flash.
Very talented group of dancers and singers. Also enjoyed the interaction with thaw audience.
They warmed up a rather dull Ohio crowd with dancing,clapping, singing and interludes of engagement with the crowd! Costumes are what you'd expect from Dancing with the Stars and Americas got talent. Overall, a very good troupe of dancers, one wonderful female voice and good star talent to smooth over transitions in acts. Didn't expect there to be singing only acts, but combined with the pace of the acts, the event was very enjoyable for my wife and I.
We thought we were on a cheesy cruise ship. The song selection was dated and the singers were good, but too theatrical. The troupe dancing was sloppy and the professional dancers needed to dance more. The audience Q & A was candid and fun!
Great show!! Good balance of dance, singing and audience participation. Cheryl is delightful and quite the dancer. She will be missed on DWTS!
Loved this show. The American Idol vocalist were wonderful. Lighting was good. Dancing was great! Would go again.
Purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife. She seemed to enjoy it so it accomplished what it was intended for but how the program was portrayed was misleading- the American idol singers sung to only a few songs and the dancing all seemed to resemble the same after awhile- so that is why I call it mehhh. Definitely not worth the price.
Everyone in show gave exquisite performance. The ladies wore lovely costumes, and the guys were shown at their best sexy. It would be really wonderful to have them at The Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village, AR, as part of concert series! Wishing them all success in their careers!
