So at first sight you might think this would be a great event for small children... unfortunately it really is not. This had been my alternative choice after finding out Disney on Ice: Frozen was no longer being performed in my town. My 7 year old niece came up to me during the intermission and said I could have told her it would just be music and no characters would actually be speaking. My niece always acted like she liked ballet so I thought she would understand what a ballet was like. This show was way too long for my nieces which ages ranged from 3-18 years old. My 3 year old niece is very patient and well behaved which I am always appreciative of but she kept quietly whispering over to me to ask when it would be over, even my patience was tested so I say my niece is a trooper! Several scenes were elongated way much more than they needed to be, every scene was danced over and over and over. And nonetheless some details of their version of the story were disappointing. I thought the scenery and outfits were beautiful but my group and I thought thought this show is what you could expect from high school function considering they all looked no older than 20 besides Cinderella's father. I think if you go with adults only its would be much more enjoyable, but with children who cannot appreciate the intricacies of ballet as an art...forget it. Spend your money elsewhere, they would have way much more fun at a free community park than here. This is in no way to bash the performers who looked and performed great. It's just the length and energy was too slow and calm for children, and children do not have the best attention spans especially when they are not being engaged.
