    Awesome

I always love going to the Paradise. I have never seen a bad show there. I have to admit that my only reason for attending this concert was to see Mighty Tiny. I thoroughly enjoyed their performance as always. I didn't stay for the other acts. That green shirt was awesome by the way.

The sound of World Peace (via dancing)

by balaguri on 5/1/11Trocadero - Philadelphia

OK so first of all I want to say I danced for 3 hours straight... and that is more time than BBB were playing (in other words the DJ before BBB was super cool too). When I say world Peace what I am really trying to convey is that these guys could rock any party, play any wedding from Kabul to Waco Texas, from Capetown to Berlin, from Philadelphia to Moscow and no one would complain. They would just dance and sweat and shout and enjoy. Punk Lives!

    Eclectic Crowd Brought GREAT Energy!!

by Ladydi287 on 4/30/11Webster Hall - New York

DJ Envy may be one of the best DJs out there -- he opened for Balkan Beat Box and you felt like you were partying in Ibiza. The crowd was so much better than expected -- everyone was eclectic, friendly, and in such high spirits. There was great energy all around and the band's performance was just the icing on the cake. Definitely recommend seeing them live -- its such a great experience and so much fun!!

Very very very good performance. Horn section definitely worked for their bread. Missing one star because they could have invited real Bulgarian girls instead of sampling their voices. That would be taking it to another level.

    Better than I had hoped

by ErikatheRed on 4/29/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I have been a fan of BBB for many years and have never been able to see them live. They have pretty complicated music and I wasn't sure how they would be in a live concert. They were awesome!! Excellent energy, non-stop show with music from the old and new albums. All the musicians are superb, the sax and clarinet players were absolutely amazing but the guitar, bass, singers and drums/mixes were at par with the horns. They knew how to get the crowd into the music. They played a solid 1-1/2 hour show without a break with smooth transitions between songs. Excellent song choices and just pure fun entertainment. Great for the young or the older (which I saw plenty of both crowds there). I recommend them highly!!

This was my second concert with them and I was equally amazed as I was the first time I saw them. The crowd, the contagious energy, the live music, simply everything was perfect. Great job and keep performing!

    Very Disappointing

by Requiem on 4/28/11Webster Hall - New York

I love Balkan Beat Box, their music is awesome, and seeing them live was a real treat. Here's the problem. I'm not sure what standard procedure is, but In New York, on a Tuesday night, opening the doors at 8:00 p.m. and having the band get on stage at 10:30 is extremely lame. People generally have places to be and things to do, especially if you are playing on a Tuesday night (and after Passover ends so we are all necessarily starving for some real food). I had to leave at 11:00 p.m., meaning I only got to hear three songs. That sucks, and to me it shows disrespect for your fans. Take that for what you will.
