About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

  • Wow

by Archer on 10/16/23The Admiral - OmahaRating: 5 out of 5

After many years of waiting to see Bad Religion, they did not disappoint. They were tight, loud and articulate. Already wanting to find their next tour and book a trip around it. Maybe my favorite show of all-time.

  • Awesome. No vocal volume somehow

by EN on 10/15/23The Union - Salt Lake CityRating: 3 out of 5

Sucked to have vocals almost completely drowned out by the rest of the music

  • So when are they coming back?! I can’t wait that long!

by BeenThereDoneThat on 10/13/23The Union - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Bad Religion many times but only at Warped Tour. So it was amazing to see them as a headliner! It was an incredible old skool punk rock show! I also loved the opening band Speed of Light. I have never heard of them before but now I’m a fan. The Dwarves rocked as well! I have wanted to see them live for awhile and I’m glad I did. Such a good time! The Union Event Center was packed and it was a Tuesday! Such a great turnout. Salt Lake City needs more punk rock shows like this!

  • Great show at a great venue

by The Bearded Punk on 10/13/23The Union - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

Sounds was good. Venue has easy access. They've been bringing awesome shows. I do have to say that the venues do tend to overcharge for alcohol, and larger venues moreso than smaller venues. Bad Religion never disappoints, this show was amazing. Can't wait until they come back. According to them we might see them here in Utah again in 2024. The Union has been getting better show after show.

  • Put on a great show

by Bad is good on 10/13/23The Union - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

It was hard to hear him sing at times, not sure if was a sound issue but other than that they killed it. Lots of classic songs and interactive with crowd

  • Great time

by Marc on 10/10/23Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

An Bad Religion in 93 and now 30 years later on the 30 year Recipe for Hate release. They didn't disappoint. Sounded killer

  • Always a good show

by Matt on 10/10/23Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great, the show was awesome as always. Like Greg talks about in his book, there's always the element that comes out just looking to let out pent up aggression and aren't there for the music and message that Bad Religion conveys.

  • 40 years of music and still rocking!

by Ramany on 10/10/23Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

After being a fan for so long, my husband and I were able to see Bad Religion together for the first time and we had an amazing time. The venue, the energy, the fans, the music...all amazing.

  • Bad Religion

by Josh on 10/10/23Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

These guys were awesome. The Fox in Oakland is an incredible venue. The Avengers opened, and brought a great energy and set the table for arguably a most important punk band. Killer show.

  • BR rocked it

by Kid Rock on 10/10/23Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

Good show with the energy expected for a band that’s been doing it for 40 years. Set list could have been optimized. I understand their catalog is massive but stick to A/B side cuts. They went a little deep at times. Stick to the hits. That’s why we come to the show.

  • True punk

by Jojo on 10/7/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw them at Riverside municipal auditorium. The venue was great. The band sounded excellent. They are the last true punk band still rockin. Greg sounded awesome as always. This was my 12th time seeing them and it's always great. There was classic punk songs, crowd surfing, mosh pit. The crowd was really showing the love. My heart is full

  • Rocked as usual!

by Bad religion old guy on 10/7/23Revolution Concert House & Event Center - Garden CityRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was better than expected. Great sound, great staff, multiple bars.. security was helpful and not big bullies. As for the band, ALWAYS rock and get the crowd in a frenzy. Classic sound and rhythm along with their harmonies was spot on. I highly recommend seeing these guys before they retire someday. And the VIP area of the venue was great! Thank you revolution concert house and thank you Bad Religion!! See you all soon

  • Seen them 3 times now and every time it's an "S" Tier show.

by Maynards Mushroom on 10/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

No seats, no chairs. All floor. Amazing crowd, amazing message, amazing music. Bleeds right through you and washes you in meaning. Best band in the world Period.

  • You can’t beat th oh s energy.

by JimB666 on 10/3/23The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

If you’ve never seen Bad Religion before do yourself a favor and go see them. This was my 10th time, amazing energy and a very tight band altogether. They play a different set list every night and you won’t be disappointed ever. Bad Religion is a punk band that has stayed true and has aged well.

  • Punk is not Dead

by ViciousVinyl on 10/1/23Riverside Municipal Auditorium - RiversideRating: 5 out of 5

Wife and I are always in need of a live music experience. We got to at least one show a month, sometimes we can get in a festival and a couple shows monthly. RMA is always a perfect venue for us. Local intimate and free parking at Heroes across the street is a bonus. Dinner and a show makes a great date night. So when I can include Bad Religion into the mix I never say no. After 40 years these guys still put on a fantastic show offering a diverse selection of tunes from their entire repertoire. Fan favorites are always sprinkled in throughout their set and the mosh pit is constantly rotating for almost 2 hours. When they come to town it is a helluva experience and one not to be missed! We will continue to support live music-Power Trip is this week and are certainly looking forward to seeing our favorite iconic bands that have withstood the test of time with classic songs Rock on and see you in the pit!🤘🤘🤘

  • A Old School Show Type of Experience

by KP on 10/1/23Riverside Municipal Auditorium - RiversideRating: 5 out of 5

The Venue was great! Easy to get in and out of. Alcohol lines weren’t too long. Bad Religion played a bunch of the classics with a long set list. None of that acoustic all punk!

  • Off the chain!

    by K. B. on 4/11/22House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Grew up surfing to these guys… Way better life than I even expected.

  • Bad Religion..Beyond it!!!

by Marc on 4/11/22House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was phenomenal. The audience was multigenerational because of the decade that the band spans. Where else do you see great music from a band where a guy in a wheel chair is crowd surfing. Seeing Bad Religion is more than seeing a band. There music weaves together the common threads of human and societal experience of the last forty plus years.Still so relevant. Still too underrated.

  • Awesome

Great show great venue, Bad Religion was one of the best bands I have seen in while and would highly recommend to anyone.
