About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

  • Bad Religion was great, but...

by reStever on 3/30/13House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyed seeing Bad Religion. I would have liked to have received some notice about Against Me! being taken out of the tour line up though. The band that's replacing them, The Bronx" was horrible. Luckily I was able to go sit in the Foundation Room during their set and miss whatever screaming and shrieking the lead singer was doing. Opener Polar Bear Club was better than I expected. I've heard a couple studio songs of theirs and was pleasantly surprised to find them better live. BR didn't disappoint one bit. Not one.

  • Still the greatest punk band

by oldpunkchick on 3/29/13Electric Factory - PhillyRating: 5 out of 5

High energy show that was a massive sing-along from start to finish. Days later and I am still feeling overwhelmed by the experience. They really put on a good show, giving 100%, with a mix of old and new songs.

  • Good concert as usual by them

    by unodostres on 3/29/13Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

It was the 9th time I saw Bad Religion. I have to say that they always manage to put together a very good show that does not feel short at all. Although they were just starting the tour and still "warming up", the show was solid, long enough and fun. Bad Religion would definitively be in my top 5 favorite bands, even probably in my top 3. But you do not need to be a big fan to really enjoy their shows.

  • Go See Bad Religion

    by Fridaaaaynite on 3/28/13Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Bad Religion was awesome. This is about the tenth time I have seen them. If you haven't been to one of their shows before I strongly advise you checking them out. Some bands fall off as they get older but for whatever reason Bad Religion's sound remains the same. Thanks for a great show as usual.

  • Always a good time

by Becktar on 3/28/13The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Bad Religion ALWAYS puts on a good show. I've seen them 7 times now and they never disappoint. They rock hard and they're always on time. (Except that one time we had to wait because Greg Graffin was in the bathroom) I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good punk show. Hell, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good show, period.

Bad Religion is my favorite band. They always play the hits and do a fair mixing of their new albums in but don't overindulge you at the same time. The song selection of the first half was great but the second half, the selection wasn't as good. I'm still seeing them every time they roll through town, love these guys. They're about to retire so get your asses out there and see them.

Best, most fun show, I've ever been to. Who knows if this is they're last tour, so if you like punk rock, and you like them GO! Their new album is awesome!

  • Good Show, missed Against Me!

    by ItDoesntMatter1561561 on 3/27/13The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The bands playing are great. I in particular liked Polar Bear Club and obviously Bad Religion was amazing. I was disappointed though that Against Me backed out as I really wanted to see them. I think had they been there this would have been the best show for the year. The Bronx was not my particularly favorite style, but they put on a good show.

  • Great show

by Antediluvian on 3/26/13The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

Polar Bear Club did a great job opening and The Bronx were good too....don't know why the singer had to end every single song with "Motherf*cking philly!" but whatever. Had a great time. My buddy couldn't make it so I gave away my extra ticket, hope that guy had a good time too :D

Didn't even go because Against me! Dropped off the tour. We should have had an option for a refund.

What can u say about one of the best Punk Rock bands of all time. The setlist was awesome. they were really into it and the crowd was into it all the way.

  • by thrasher74 on 3/21/13Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan since the Suffer album came out, unfortunately this is only the second time I've ever seen Bad Religion live. All I have to say is AMAZING, the energy of the band and the crowd was full on. Bad Religion sounded great, one of the few bands that sound as great live as they do on their CD's. The drummer from Polar Bear Club filled in for Brooks Wackerman and did a great job. I offer my condolences to Brooks on the passing of his mother.

Anytime Bad Religion plays at the Masquerade I will drive the two hours from Chattanooga to attend.

I've seen Bad Religion before and they never disappoint. They played close to 30 songs spanning their whole career. Greg sounded perfect and the band was on point. Awesome show!
