This was such a great adaptation of the original movie. There were subtle differences, but it tied in so well and they incorporated so many key sayings from the movie to keep in on track. Really enjoyed everything and would love to see it again.
I did not have high expectations for this musical (I bought the tickets as a surprise for my husband) but was drawn in from the first song and loved every minute of it. It was hilarious, heartfelt, and will appeal to anyone regardless of if they love the movie or not.
The visual illusions were fantastic. The sound level was just a little too ear splitting for my personal taste. I wear Oticon hearing aids with a phone app to control sound levels. I had to turn the level down to a -3. Otherwise the hearing aids were warning me of damaging sound levels.
We took a group of 6 adults and teens. It was our first broadway-level show. It did not disappoint. So much talent, such a high-quality production. The special effects were mind-blowing. A great experience for everyone and 6 thumbs up!
This show is so fun from start to finish, the songs and lyrics, choreography, actors, special effects, and more, make this show one you will want to see over and over!
My family and I went to see this because we are all longtime fans of the film. The musical is amazing and the cast is perfect! Lots of special effects, excellent pacing, and catchy tunes had us engaged the entire time. You’re never taken out of the experience; instead, you’re along for the ride! This is definitely one of the best musicals we’ve ever seen! So happy that something of this quality made a stop in Alabama! Five Stars!!!
Our favorite show, have seen it 36 times between NYC, London and the tour. Highly recommend seeing this show (just make sure to leave tickets available for us, lol)
Marty and the cast had great energy. Loved the songs.
So bad…I wish I could jump into a Deloreon, speed to 88mph, and go back in time to stop myself from buying these tickets! So cheesy, so tacky, such an absolute let down. We left after 32 painful minutes of hoping it would get better…it did not in fact get better. The problem lies fully with the production itself, the singing/dancing is done as well as can be expected with what they were given. Poor kids did their best
