What great show. Good stories to lead into the songs. Thank you !!!
Fabulous, fabulous show. Masters of their craft, awesome musician gods lead by Randy Bachman whose son was also playing beautifully all the songs we love and crave. Randy looks great, plays that guitar like a guitar god of course… he told us the history of the band, and introduced the songs with the funny stories that inspired them. All band members were great and guitars never went out of tune! Now this is what I call a concert!
Honestly, I had low expectations going in to the show. I had found out that Bachman Turner Overdrive was really the Randy Bachman band. He was the only original member of the band and, at 80, I had very little hope that he’d put on much of a show. I was very wrong. Bachman’s voice, stage presence and his guitar playing are all top notch. He is a great story teller, and passed along some of the origins of the great songs he’s written over the years. The set list was full of BTO classics as well as all the Guess Who hits Randy wrote and played on. Aside from Randy’s son Tal Bachman, I had no idea who any of the other band members were but they were all great. I wound up searching them all out on social media after the show and plan on supporting their other musical projects. Bottom line: this was a great, rockin’ show and I would go see the re-vamped BTO again in a heartbeat.
Great but really missed Fred Turner . Randy Bachman was awesome
Great show started right on time interacted with the audience and they have not lost a step would go again great time
The acoustics were great, it was loud but clear. Randy told a few stories and put on a great show. Did a lot of Guess Who songs that he wrote. Hope he comes back!
What a great show. At 80 years old, Randy Bachman didn't handle most of the singing duties, but he did sing the choruses and his guitar work was unmistakable. They played virtually EVERY hit of both BTO and the Guess Who, from Randy's time with them.
The show was absolutely outstanding. They played songs from guess who days bto days. Played a solid hour and a 1/2. And randy bachman told some, really cool stories to go along with the songs. If you have a chance to go see them, I would highly recommend it
Randy is an amazing storyteller! They sounded great!
What a show...BTO and frontman Randy Bachman did not disappoint...his story telling and music resulted in one of the best shows I've seen period. Can't wait to see them again
It was a thrilling show from start to finish. Randy Bachman is one of the best guitartists ever and the whole band was fantastic. They played all the best songs from BTO AND THE GUESS WHO as a bonus. Also some great covers. Not to mention, Tal Bachman sang his big hit too!! Highly Recommend
Randy Bachman and his fellow musicians delivered a great concert. They played songs not only from Bachman-Turner Overdrive but also The Guess Who and other bands. And Randy had a story to tell about every song 😀. The highlight of the evening was probably the classic rock medley where they played a lot of really famous rock songs from the Stones, the Who, and others. The audience went wild on this one.
BTO was excellent. Randy his son and the crew played exceptional. I recommend seeing Bachman Turner Overdrive you will enjoy.
Not sure what I was expecting - but I was blown away. Great stories, amazing music and all around great experience!
Randy Bachman told some great stories. His band played Guess Who & BTO songs. The show was very entertaining!
Enjoyed the band they were awesome especially the guess who songs
A great mix of BTO and Guess Who material performed by a stellar lineup. Randy's stories interspersed with the music made it even better. Fantastic performance!
BTO was the band to see Friday! They gave 100%. Enjoyed the guess Who songs. The classic rock medley totally rocked the house! Would see them again in a minute.
Great performance by a popular veteran rocker & his new crew with son.
Great band! Did all their hits! They put on an amazing show. Great interaction with audience. Loved all the stories about their history, songs, etc. I never knew the guy who sang "She's So High"was Randy's son! I love that song. Amazing!!!Great seats! Westbury Theater has great set up. Only issue was food was too expensive. Other than that, all was great!
