Incredible $120 million set, dazzling state of the art effects and wonderful performers with a disappointing story that did not touch, move, or inspire me. As a "visual thinker", I enjoyed the show thoroughly, but had no clue what the story was or why I should care. I wanted it to be better than any Cirque du Soleil show, but it wasn't. As a filmmaker and storyteller for 50 years I'm reminded that "Story is King.!"

We've been visiting Las Vegas almost every year since 2005 and have seen many, many shows. Awakening is the most unique one I've ever seen. From the costumes to music, acrobatics to magic along with puppetry and amazing choreography, it's non-stop entertainment from beginning to end. I cannot possibly give it a high enough rating and recommendation.

Awakening was everything and so much more than anything that I expected. Some negative reviews are critical of the difficult story line. While I could not follow the story line, I did not care. The show was captivating in so many ways. I was spellbound by the beauty, choreography, costumes, and special effects. The audio portion of the show was top notch.

Don’t waste your money or your time. They are so many better options, cheesy awful show

Fantastic costumes, huge elephant skeleton, dancing and choreography. Hardly any Cirque content. After being at 3 other shows, this was what I expected , and not what I wanted. This is a spectacle of sound and visual imagery.

The stage, music, and visuals are amazing. I was underwhelmed by the acrobatics that I've come to expect from cirque shows.

What a great experience and well worth the money. The music, props, dancing and other tricks, and the theatrical effects were stunning. It was an immersive experience that was jaw dropping at moments. Certain moments even caused physical and vocal reactions to what was done. Definitely a must do if you have the chance!!!

We absolutely enjoyed the show. The storytelling, effects and performances of those involved were wonderful. Definitely recommend sitting higher up to fully see everything happening. Highly recommend seeing the show. The effects add to the show a lot and help transport you to another world.

This show was absolutely amazing! One of the best shows I have seen in Vegas in a long time. The costumes, the set, the choreography, the lighting, everything was absolutely wonderful.

Fantastic show. Took the family (+Mother, +9yo +13yo) for my second viewing. It was a total hit. Great mix of dance, acrobatics, story, technology, magic. This show has everything! Very fun and I actually prefer this over the Cirque shows. It also helps that it is a smaller venue that gives better viewing across the board. Great performances all around!

This is more than just a show. It’s a compelling story with amazing special effects. Highly recommended.

Love the action of this love story- and the twists and turns it takes

Awakening is the best show we have seen in Vegas. I would rank it at the top of the shows available.

The story is hard to follow without some prior knowledge and even then it is a stretch. Every scene lasts 5 mins longer than necessary and becomes long and tedious. Visual effects that are at first stunning become boring and predictable. The widely acclaimed aerial fight is hard to interpret and by the end you really don't care who the good guy is. This is a show for children, not adults. And if they ask to bring along an ipad I would suggest saying yes.

One of the best shows I’ve seen by far! A must for all ages. There is not one bad seat as the theatre is designed with a 360 stage so the entire audience can take part in the performance.

The show was great! The abstract and colorful production along with the interactive setting and stage was captivating. Telling a story through motion, art and a great soundtrack. Topping such a unique show is going to be hard to do. This is a great example of what hardwork, attention to detail and great performers get you! Breathtaking work!

The story itself seemed more for an adolescent than adults. The dancers were very talented and the visual effects were great. The cool and warm air was piped through at appropriate times but the cold was very cold and was used too much. I wish the story could be different but with same actors and visual effects. We gave three stars and wouldn’t see this show again.

Awakenings is a dance show with mediocre choreography and poor dancing. The costuming, lighting and staging were quite good but this is a dance show. The lack of interesting choregraphy and the low quality of the dancers was stunning. The two lead characters appeared to lack any advanced training and the troupe was almost as bad. Do not waste your time and money on this show.

It is a magnifecent production, wonderful lighting, clothing, and the place is gorgeous. The people who led you to your place is very kind.
