  • TicketMaster

by Jack_R63 on 12/31/22Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

TicketMaster made it very easy to select the sporting event I wanted to attend and to find tickets, and the payment process was also easy to navigate and speedy. Only thing that sucks is that it won’t let me select the exact seats I want and the app selected for me.

  • Great EXCEPT for Parking

    by S. W. on 12/31/22Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

Except for entry to the stadium, everything about the stadium and game itself was great. It took us over an hour to get in to park as there was only one line and one attendant for our lot. We purchased a parking pass ahead of time thinking this would save time, but all cars entered via the same line. There was only one person waving you through if you had a pass and/or taking money/credit card if you had not purchased a pass. Every. Single. Car had to stop. There was not an advantage to purchasing your parking pass ahead of time. This was very frustrating.

  • Let us back in!

by KU Chris on 12/31/22Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium - MemphisRating: 1 out of 5

We made the mistake of leaving early due to our team being down. However we learned about them coming back and asked to return to the game. We went to three different gates and were rudely told that we could not renter. There were hundreds of Kansas fans who paid good money, drove over 7 hours one way and spent multiple days in a city that didn’t have useable water due to being unprepared for winter weather previously to our arrival. You would think that a bowl game that was close to sold out would have been customer friendly and allow us back in to watch our teams amazing comeback. We had to stand outside the stadium and try to watch the jumbo tron. C’mon Liberty Bowl and Memphis you should do better than this. If my team ever gets invited again, there will be many Kansas fans joining me in boycotting the game because of this poor decision.

  • Great Game but Stadium needs updated

by TSM1990 on 12/31/22Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

The game between Arkansas and Kansas was amazing and one of the best bowl games this season. The bands were great but I think they needed to be sitting near the 50 yard line so everyone could hear them. The halftime entertainment (Starship?) sucked because the speakers kept going in and out. There were only portable toilets to use. The concession stands were limited on the upper level and no merchandise stands on the upper level.

It was an awesome experience, second time attending the Liberty Bowl. Both times were Awesome!

  • Liberty Bowl Game was amazing

by M. Bivens Fan on 12/31/21Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The Texas Tech University game vs Miss State was amazing. The seats were great and the atmosphere is good. I took a bus shuttle so I didn't have to fool with parking and that was efficient. Its an older stadium but still very good for football and other sports. Concessions are on point. No cash is accepted, only credit cards. Restrooms are adequate and getting people in and out of stadium was nice. Overall great venue and seats were awesome. Section 108 lower level I will definitely buy again.

  • Solid

by XYLAMIC on 12/31/21Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

The stadium is well designed such that I felt all seats are good seats. The surrounding amenities were functional. They had no lids or straws for drinks though?

  • Great game. Stadium needs cleaning and updating.

by Macattack on 1/3/19Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 3 out of 5

It had rained a lot on gameday. However, the stadium itself was dirty. They should have powerwashed it prior to the game, and cleaned up any standing water inside the stadium. The concourses were slippery, as they are angled for water drainage, never seen that before. Also the steps inside do not have railings, so going up and down was challenging for older fans. This should be an ADA requirement i would think.

  • Memphis fans

    by ISU111 on 1/2/18Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 2 out of 5

Our tickets ended up being near the Memphis student section. These fans are the most foul mouthed obnoxious fans I have ever witnessed. Total vulger and disrespectful to ISU fans even with small children present. Great game, worst fans.

  • Southern Hospitality with “A Beef”

by Beavercowboy on 1/2/18Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time in Memphis and at the Liberty Bowl. The event is well-planned and the people are fantastic! The Memphis fans were friendly and respectful. I ought to know! I was a Cyclone fan sitting in a sea of blue! They said they liked having us there but would “beef with us” on Saturday. The did “beef on us” but we “beefed back”, winning the game 21-20.

Fun time but maybe they could clean up around it. Dirty around it. But an amazing game, nice views. Terrible pa system for a place that host a bowl game yearly.

  • The Post

by ugottabekidding on 1/6/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 1 out of 5

You sold us tickets in the nose-bleed section that sat right behind a support post for the executive boxes above. It was 2 feet wide. We could not see a third of the field. You never warned us about this issue.

  • Getting tickets to Home

by mymary on 1/6/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

From getting the tickets to the end of the day we had a wonderful time. We have discussed having this being our Bowl game each year even if our home team doesn't play. Great experience.

  • Great entertainment, food, and drinks!!

by Shaska on 1/6/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the environment. The service and food were great. The only negative is that the drink line was long, but they had beer stations that moved quickly

  • Go Hogs!!

by Ranethang on 1/6/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

Free parking not too far from stadium. Seats were just fine, even in "nose bleed" section. I know someone that sat opposite side upper deck and had a large pole obstructing their view if the field. Be aware of this. Only complaint: all soda drinks were sold out shortly after halftime.

  • Shuttle service

    by mackell1 on 1/6/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

shuttle service sucked, waited over 1.5 hours sucking fumes , no one new anything, thousands of people waiting for three busses , pure chaos, ended up walking 2.5 miles back to campus drop point along with another couple 3 hours after the 1 hour walk they were still running the 3 busses, will never , ever take the shuttle , rather pay 20.00 and sit in car,

  • One of the best experiences!!

  • Enjoyed the entire experience

by Mohogfan on 1/5/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

Arrived in Memphis on New Years Day. Made our first ever visit to Beale street. Would love to go back. Attended the Beale Street Parade and following pep rallies. Game day was a snap. Arrived early, about 4 hours before kick-off. Walked to Central BBQ and ate some of the very best que. Enjoyed the game, especially since my team won. Purposely waited awhile before attempting to leave. Once we decided to go we had no problems getting on to our hotel. My only complaint is we left to visit the three gates where the liberty bowl champion t-shirts were to be sold and all that was available were smalls and mediums.

  • Liberty Bowl

    by hog73 on 1/5/16Liberty Bowl Stadium - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

Great game parking was good but after game exiting was very difficult and took a ver long time a traffic flow diagram would be nice so depending on direction you want to leave could decide on where too park
