Raised in the charming seaport town of Mystic, Connecticut, Grammy nominated producer Audien has established himself as a worldwide pioneer of progressive house. His now critically-acclaimed career was conceived in 2008 by releasing music on his co-founded label Only Vibes Recordings. Solidifying his signature trance sound by 2009, Audien's pursuits underwent a profound upward trajectory in affluence. Didn’t know much about Audien, so listened to a few sets and thought it was a little slow but decided to buy tickets anyways. I was blown away by how good the show was. Different than what I had heard online, much more energetic and the drops were insanely good.
Im a big fan of all types of EDM music so when I heard Audien was going to be at Soundcheck on May 2nd I bought a ticket. I really enjoyed it. He is a talented composer and DJ. While I enjoy bass in EDM music and feeling the vibrations take over my body, there was a little too much. If you are anywhere near the stage wear earplugs! Overall though we loved it. I would definitely do it again but would try to not sit so close.
Was really looking forward to Audien and the back to back Ross but it became apparent that ross wanted to play a ton of heavy bass style music which really lead to poor transitions between the two. Visuals and sounds were solid but set list was mediocre and it didn’t seem like they were playing well of each others style.
I had so much fun at this show, much better than the insomniac event for NYE tbh. Audien is amazing and the surprise with seven lions during Jason Ross’s set! Chefs kiss!
Audien was great but i dont Get the security. I got My totem pole in no problem as i been A guest at wamu for ten plus years but 20 mins after security supervisor told me no real reason but i couldnt Have it in even thought wamu always lets totem pole in
As with most famous artists and everyone's favorites, Audien captured the delightful innocence of youth & turned it into sound. He got me thru some tough times driving across the state to see my mom. I am truly grateful

5th time seeing Audien. Just as every other set I’ve been to. He has never disappointed. Always brings all the energy and vibes. Can’t wait until he’s back again.
This venue was very small. It was super crowded and full of very young kids who didn’t seem to know what deodorant was. Full drinks were spilled left and right, and while walking towards the exit, a drink spilled onto us from the balcony. I was wearing a very minimal swimsuit type of top, and the security person felt the need to rub my (exposed) cleavage area? I love Audien, but I will never come back to the San Jose Civic.
The Progressive House Never Dies show was so fun & amazing! Haven’t been to a show in awhile so it was very nice to get back in there. The vibes were great. Audien was amazing! His sound is forever a banger. We loved it!
