The game was decent enough, although a few of the biggest names did not play. This was poor scheduling as this was held on the same night as the MLS all-star game, which may have kept a lot of soccer fans at home, and negatively impacted fan turnout. It was nice for the teams to entertain the crowd with PK's at the end, even though the game officially ended in a tie.

    Exciting pre-season friendly

by BlueJester on 7/31/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

I am always wary of paying good money to travel to see a pre season friendly but this event was an exception to that. The City of Atlanta had organised this well and the Dome made access easy with several bars close-by for pre game beverages. The view from the seats pretty much anywhere in the Dome was good with no obstructions. Both teams fielded strong line-ups so we got our monies worth. One area that could be improved is the catering for supporters to gather together at one end of the ground. This makes for better chanting and singing. The sides and upper tiers cans remain a mixed environment and pre-game ticket sales could make this a viable option if made available. It is still risky going to a pre-season game but City coming to the USA is cheaper than me going to City in the UK. Thanks City, thanks Club America and thanks Atanta Dome for a good show!!

    Good enough.

    by tsoles3 on 7/30/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Even without much A Team talent on the field, it can't be beaten for $12 tickets.

    IT WAS GREAT

by Anonymous on 7/30/10I love the Goergia Dome cuz of the friendly staff and great seating no matter where you sit. - Atlanta needs more great soccer teams coming this way. I loved it last year when Mexico came and won!

It was a good game and the penalties were intense. I was expecting for people but it was still great. I was rooting for manchester and my fiance for club america. I won!! I still love the club america players though, especially Ochoa! Overall it was Great!

    Great game.

by GTBuzz on 7/30/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Though expected, I was a little disappointed in the benching of star players Robinho and Tevez of Man City, however it was an exciting game down to the last PK. I'll be sure to get tickets for as long as am in Atlanta

by CTID on 7/30/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

We had a great time at the Georgia dome watching Manchester City Vs Club America, the staff were very helpful, te seats were easy to find and lots of food and drinks to be bought (expensive but good choices). our hotel the Embassy Suites were a 5min walk to the dome.

    Great friendly game.

by Artemio on 7/30/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

The game was very excited even if the match was a friendly game. Atlanta needs to get more soccer attention. It was two very competitive teams. The only problem was the low number of attendance. Prices were kind of high due to the fact it was a friendly match. The teams could have more fan interaction. Hope that there will be more games and good 1st division teams from around the world. Soccer needs to be popularize in ATL.

    Eh

by Anonymous on 7/29/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Between the bad taxi service, a fair game with no real soccer celebs(Tevez, David Silva) to speak of tickets were way overpriced and the event staff were extremely rude.

I enjoyed the game, but the noise level with the horns made it impossible to hear any announcements.

    Futbol in Atlanta

by Neillo on 7/29/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Absolutely had a blast at this event. I do wish that there were more futbol related activities/interaction for the kids and adults prior to the game to add to the excitement but still a great outing. Ticket pricing discouraged some people that I know were interested in attending so maybe competitive group rates would have been helpful in raising the number of attendees. I went to the AC Milan/America game last year and plan on attending the game next year. Thank you for bringing futbol to the states.

    Manchester City V Club America

by CItyforever on 7/29/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

It was a real pleasure to see high quality football played in Atlanta, European football that is. Having Manchester City (my favorite club) was an extra treat for me, so I drove from eastern Kentucky to see them. There is a real growing market for soccer in the US and the Georgia Dome was a perfect venue on a hot summer night. Well done!

Club America: great! Man City: disappointing!

by Leebi on 7/29/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Given their big money roster, Man City were boring

    Atmosphere was dissappointing

    by TChamp2 on 7/29/10Georgia Dome - Atlanta

For the amount that I paid for these tickets, I was quite disappointed to not get a taste of the full atmosphere of an international soccer match. I honestly believe it is because of the ticket prices that there was only 33,000 fans there and not the 50,000+ in which was seen last year for a similar event. I believe that if I pay that much for tickets, I should experience the full atmosphere or an international match here in the United States. Overall, I did enjoy seeing some well known players but again, I just feel the tickets were way over priced for THIS particular match and teams.
