Atlanta Gladiators at Infinite Energy Arena
Duluth, Georgia, is home to the Atlanta metro area's professional hockey team. The Atlanta Gladiators are in the South Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference, where they face stiff competition from the likes of the Florida Everblades, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, the Jacksonville Icemen, the Norfolk Admirals, the Orlando Solar Bears and the South Carolina Stingrays. The Gladiators play out of the Infinite Energy Arena, which opened in 2003 and currently seats 13,100. Their coach and general manager is Jeff Pyle, who previously had success coaching the Gladiators from 2003 to 2011.
Atlanta Gladiators History
The Atlanta Gladiators continue a long tradition of hockey excellence in the metro Atlanta area. Two National Hockey League franchises have played in downtown Atlanta: the Flames (who played at the Omni from 1972 to 1980 before moving to Calgary), and the Thrashers (who played at what is now known as State Farm Arena from 1999 to 2011 before becoming the Winnipeg Jets). The Atlanta Knights of the International Hockey League lasted only from 1992 to 1996, but in that brief time they won the 1994 Turner Cup, and employed John Paris Jr. as the first black head coach in professional ice hockey, as well as goaltender Manon Rhéaume, the first woman to play a regular season game in men's professional ice hockey.
The Atlanta Gladiators first took to the ice in 1995 as the Mobile Mysticks, where they remained before taking a hiatus for the 2002-03 season and moving to Gwinnett County, Ga., the following year. The Gladiators have a shared history with the Atlanta Thrashers, as the Thrashers' ECHL affiliate off and on from 2003 to 2011, when they were known as the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Gladiators rebranded in 2015 as the Atlanta Gladiators, and became affiliated with the NHL's Boston Bruins and the AHL's Providence Bruins, a partnership which continues to this day.

The Gladiator staff were courteous and professional, and the hockey is exciting. The environment is friendly, safer, and affordable. Love the Kroger plan! We have found a new family event to attend, thanks Gladiators!
We love going to the Kroger Sundays for the Gladiators. It is a great value and always a family friendly good time. Love it!
I've bought tickets to 5 games in the last two years and I've never seen them win a game. I understand it's a training league but the team seems to give up in the second half of the game. The arena is very nice, but winning sometimes would make one want ot come back.
Sat on the second row right next to the visitors bench. What a show. Never been that close before. From here on out, that is where I will find my tickets at.
Very nice venue and the game was highly competitive and entertaining.
I've been to many NHL hockey games. This was the first ever Gladiators game and let me tell you - from this point on, most of my hockey games will be watching the Gwinnett Gladiators. They played with heart and it was obvious they loved what they were doing. They involved the audience and made it fun for my entire family. I brought my father, step-mother, sisters and brothers, my wife and 3 kids - 10 people all together and we're all going back soon. The arena was easy to get to, park at, and leave. Very much recommend anyone thinking about going - go. Don't put it off any longer
First time to the Hockey game. Had a blast can't wait until the next time I can be there.
My husband and I always enjoy the Gladiators Hockey games at Gwinnett Arena. Almost all seats are good and parking is free. It's a nice change from the hub-bub of going to the pro games downtown.
Great Event. Reasonably priced tickets, free Parking, easy to get to the arena, Lots of food choices, comfortable seats, great views of the game, lots of other stuff for the kids. Overall a great way to spend a family night out.
They lost but we still had a great time, 3rd period proved exciting as they tried a comeback. We always enjoy a game with a good fight, got a couple in this one. We see the Gladiators more than any other sports team in ATL. The games are fun, move at a good pace and it is close to home for us. We'll be back and will continue to tell others what a great time we have every time we go.
The tickets purchased thru TicketMaster were for our sons 16th birthday. This was his and his siblings as well as his mothers first hockey game. It was great. Lots of action, played Chuck-a-Puck. Unfortunately the Gladiators lost the game but we still had fun. This is a cheap and fun family event. There were two fights on the ice but hey, thats hockey!!
It had its edge on the seat moments! My boyfriend and I can't wait till the next game we go to. We had an amazing time. The score was 3 to 2. The First and second period it looked like Gladiators were going to lose but In the last minute of the third period Gladiators and Stingrays were tied 2 to 2. We went into over time and then had the shoot off. Gladiators made all their goals except one. Stingrays didnt make any. It was a Great experience. I will be back soon :)
had a great time at the hockey game had seats on the glass will come back again
I got hooked on hockey last season when I came with my sons to our first game. We came to 5 more games & 2 play-off games. I was able to come to opening weekend and watch both. If you want an exciting place to be and a game that is wide open to watch this is where you got to go.

I took my 12 yr. old son, it was his first hockey game. He loved it!! The first scuffle on the ice in the first 3 minutes really got his attention. I recommend this for families, because its a very fun and affordable venture, which is hard to come by these days. Good entertainment! Easy in and out of the venue.
I would really recommend this for everyone. Great time for family and friends.
