Atlanta Falcons Team History
The Atlanta Falcons joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1966. Since their start, they’ve won six division championships and have appeared in two Super Bowl games (1999 and 2017). The Falcons began play in the former Georgia Dome in 1992, where they defeated all other 31 NFL teams at least once during their time there. In 1998, they had their best season to date, finishing 14-2 and winning the NFC West.
The Falcons played their final game at the Georgia Dome on January 22, 2017, beating the Green Bay Packers 44-21 to win the division title. Upon completion of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Falcons opened their new home with a preseason game in August 2017.

Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Located in Atlanta, the 71,000-capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) opened in 2017. Built as a replacement for the Georgia Dome, Mercedes-Benz Stadium was constructed completely with the fan experience in mind. Wide concourses give fans the ability to freely move around the stadium on any level.
MBS is one of the most sustainable and environmentally-conscious sports venues in the world. After achieving LEED Platinum certification upon completion in 2017, MBS focused on implementing operations to create a zero waste environment. As part of its sustainability initiatives, MBS developed and implemented a variety of green practices, such as water conservation, energy conservation, recycling and compost, alternative transportation, an urban garden, and agriculture programs.
MBS became the first sports and entertainment venue to achieve LEED Zero certification in any category which can only be achieved if a venue has achieved LEED Platinum, and the first Stadium worldwide to achieve official TRUE Platinum certification for zero waste. The diverted materials are reduced, reused, recycled, composted and/or recovered to curb the Stadium's overall environmental footprint.

I was surprised the Falcons' organization offered free hotdogs and soda. Need to open the roof on non rainy days because the stadium was musty.
It was great seats and easy to find in the stadium.
For the price the seats were awful. Way too high. Couldn’t even see the giant ring scoreboard to see replays. Just wasn’t a good experience at all
Walking to the stadium the tailgaters gave pre pre game love with the food and music which excited me. Once through the gates the Falcon Bird with a Football blew me away with it's magnificent artwork. Inside the stadium was invigorating with the most friendly staff ever. Fans were fun, family oriented and exciting with love. Beautiful experience Loved everything from the cleanliness of the bathroom with the space to the variety of delicious food. I enjoyed every thing about the Game. Just Awesome!
Dope part about it is doing warm up walking down courtside and seeing the players up close🔥🔥
My husband has been a Falcons fan since he was a kid, but had never been to a game. I surprised him with tickets and nothing can describe the joy I experienced watching him enjoy the game. The club seats were amazing and the live experience was indescribable. We had so much fun. This experience set the bar for future games.
Our seats were great, the process was smooth, and we beat the Saints….couldn’t ask for a better day. The bonus: 50 Years of Hip Hop Celebration was on point!
It was so awesome. Specially it being my ever first NFL game. I just wish the mics were working better for the performers. It was so awesome seeing everyone you grew up listening too. Wish I could have met them as well.

I had not been to a falcon game in approximately 5 years. I was glad I attended the Falcons vs New Orleans game on Sunday after thanksgiving. The game was competitive from beginning to end and there was a lot of interaction with the attendees/crowd which made it fun. Plus they recognized all the hip hop artists as part of the 50 year anniversary of hip hop. Concessions were reasonably priced and delicious.
Best stadium I’ve been to that includes; Las Vegas, SOFI, Dallas, Seattle, and Kansas City.
We had such a great experience! The food is so affordable and there were a lot of options. there was also so much parking close to the stadium that you couldn’t go wrong. Plus a lot of people directing traffic which was so nice.
1st football game for my two sons. The really enjoyed the music, fans, food and the arena. We also got to the game maybe a hour before kickoff and they were able to take pictures of the players practicing and warming up.Seat were great as well!
That was my first time at the new stadium and I really enjoyed myself. It was clean and the workers were very helpful when needed.
The tickets I purchased were in the fans only section which was great for energy and experience. The Ticketmaster process was easy and the mobile entry to the stadium was fast. Too bad the Falcons lost but easy ticket experoebce.
This was not my first time at the game but this was my best time. It was my birthday weekend. I enjoyed it a lot, if only my Falcons would have pulled off a Win, it would have been better. But I still love them❤️ The food was really good and affordable- that was a major plus Had a great time, can’t wait to do it again❤️❤️
