Fun show wish more advertising because the theatre wasn't full but hey the crowd was into the comedy. Couple of skits were lame but overall had to admire the actors for their energy, piano man was great, and some good laughs. I'd see it again, hope it comes back, fun for the older theatre groups.
This musical has very funny! I laughed the entire show! Great performance!
Delightful little play. Two cast members and a piano player were all there were to bring Pelican Roost to life. Being of that ilk, while it didn't make me want to go into "senior living" setting, it was a wonderful farce of what life could be like where most everything is taken care for you. Lots of laughs from attendees of all ages, and some familiar music made you want to hum along. Repeat appearances by some of the Roost's inhabitants brought about audience participation in their "pitch." The only regret is that there was only one evening performance, the rest being during the afternoon.
It was an afternoon of laughter and tears (from laughter) with a great group of friends! Would definitely recommend for others to see!
Funny but good for community theater crowd. Reminded us of vaudeville
