  • Great concept, terrible execution

My girlfriend and I had high hopes for this show - every girl has plenty of crazy stories about f*boys, so the concept has a lot of potential, but this fell super flat. Out of the 5 or 6 performers, only one (Olivia) was hilarious. Most of the other stories weren’t actually about fboys at all—one was about a guy with poor hygiene (gross, sure, but not a fboy), another was about a high school fling who was simply immature, etc. I can think of 10 wild stories off the top of my head from my circle of friends that are way more entertaining than what we heard. The worst was when the hosts had one performer try to replicate a supposedly hilarious segment from a prior show, where he had had to sub in last minute and present a girl's slides sight unseen... so for this show, to try to recreate that moment, they decided to fabricate a lame, made-up f*boy story for him to present sight unseen. It was not funny. Kind of cringe, in fact. (No shade to the performer, it wasn't his fault.) The "panel of f*boys"were also.... not f*boys. Only 1 of the 3 was actually an f*boy (albeit a "reformed"one) but he was somehow the only one who understood the assignment. It was also clear that the hosts didn’t prep the performers. None of them seemed aware that QR codes had been included after their slides for live audience feedback. Lastly, there was a bizarre ending: 11–12 girls came onstage because one of them had somehow discovered they’d all slept with the same guy, who allegedly gave them all the same toothbrush. You’d think this would lead to a juicy story, but we never heard it. Instead, the girls received a sponsored gift and walked offstage - the 3 at the end didn't even get the gift because it was so disorganized. No screenshots, no live call to this guy from the stage, nothing. Total missed opportunity. As we were leaving the venue, everyone around us was saying the same thing, so I know we weren't alone in the disappointment. This is the type of show where you could theoretically come back again and again (like many of the other shows that the Bell House hosts), but this one was definitely not worth the money unless big changes are made. Great concept, poor execution.
