My sister and I went to go see them after listening to them throughout the pandemic. Ashnikko is an awesome performer and I’m so happy we got to go see them!
The anthem is a nice venue but we were packed like sardines and there was barely any space to breathe. Audrey nuna ended around 8:30 and Ashnikko didn't come on till after 9:20. She's a good performer and seemed nice enough but I won't see her in person again.
From start to finish, show was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Will definitely be attending more of her shows
Ashnikko never slowed down the energy during her whole performances. It was exhausting to watch in the best ways. She was enjoying herself, the back up dancers were fully into the choreography and it was obvious that there was a connection with the crowd. The songs were perfectly selected. The fan chants were arguably some of the loudest I've heard at any concert I've been to in the past. She is a must see live if you enjoy her music.
ashnikko was wonderful but people need to learn concert etiquette. everyone is there to enjoy her, not you being rude and hating on me and then blowing smoke and vapor in my face. love you ash!
I've now seen Ashnikko in concert twice and each time was such a cathartic event. Getting to scream and get angry in an audience full of queer people is a magic time. Ashnikko is also a great performer and the backup dancers were insanely talented as well. Lastly, I always love to see the trippy stage designs that make the shows so visually striking!
The show was phenomenal and The National staff did a great job taking care of everyone! I’m not sure if Ashnikko’s staff will see this, but I have suggestion for the Q&A segment of the vip experience. I noticed some fans asking too-personal questions and over sharing during the event. It made me uncomfortable and I’m sure it made others as well as the performers uncomfortable as well. I’d suggest having people submit their questions ahead of time. Then ashnikko or their staff could pick the ones they want to answer. They could call the name of the person who submitted the question and that person could have an opportunity to introduce themself and ask the question they submitted, as opposed to having the freedom to say anything they want. I think it would be safer for Ashnikko and it would make the event run smoother for the fans.
The Anthem is my favorite music venue! It is big enough to not feel cramped, yet feels intimate. Ashnikko was incredible and the crowd was fun. Her backup dancers were incredible too!
The show was amazing, this was my second time seeing Ashnikko. She truly cares about the well-being of her fan base and wants everyone to have fun. She works hard to put on a good show. That being said, an hour long intermission for a general admission show is overkill.
Ashnikko’s performance was good but she had us all wait over an hour between when the opener ended and she started the show. We had gotten there early and stood packed like sardines in front of the stage. It was miserable and I left with my body in immense pain
Ashnikko put on an amazing show! She played all the songs I was looking forward to hearing, the choreography was awesome, and she was super sexy doing it. The crowd at the show left something to be desired though. Seemed like everyone was pretty low energy and ready to complain about everything instead of just losing themselves in the moment like I prefer to do. I really can’t stand a million people recording with their phones the whole time, not that that’s something specific to Ash’s shows, but it definitely erks me.
Ash simply knew how to entertain us, she is so caring and respectful, I would definitely love to come back!!!
If you get the chance to make it to one of these shows, you need to go! Amazing performance and great songs !
It was one of the most magical concerts I’ve ever attended! She has such great crowd presence and knows how to get a party started!! Would definitely love to see her again!
My 5 star rating is for Ashnikko and her amazing Crew. Ashnikko is a sweetheart and has so much patience even when sick and tired. She deserves the whole universe and im sorry to say, but most of her fan base doesnt deserve her authenticity and talent. I was ignorant to think that the people in the crowd (Ontarians) would actually have some respect for one another. I was shoved and pushed, had a drink spilled on me, and even had a couple squeeze their way in between me and my stuff on a table and when I asked them if they could stop pushing me over they ignored me and proceeded to whisper to each other and laugh. The crowd was not it, but the venue and performance was phenomenal.
Her performance was good. But the stage was hard to see and the crowd was dull. Felt disappointed when compared to last tour
High quality performance by Ashnikko, however I have never before been to a show without at least 1 opening band. We traveled several hours for a very short show and that was rather disappointing. Having smaller acts open for the headliner is an essential part of a concert for so many reasons. This just reaks of greed and shrinkflation. Really hoping this doesn't become more common. I would not have gone if I had known, but so many shows put on by livenation don't list the opening acts so I assumed this was another of those.
I had a fantastic time at the Chicago show! She was late starting but she made a joke saying she was late cuz she was pooping and it was hilarious. I also was bummed that no opening acts showed up, but Ashnikko was the one I wanted to see anyway and I still had a frickin blast :) she is amazing and I look forward to seeing her again!!
Even though it is general admission, I think there should still be some form of sectioning because I was pushed every which way by people forcing themselves closer. If you can do a sort of wrist band color sectioning thing, I think it would run more smoothly without pushing. I also wish Ashnikko came out earlier and not 1.5 hours later. The concert was amazing though when it started!
