This was a fantastical evening; better than I had hoped for. All of the employees and volunteers were cheerful and helpful. I just wish that I had known about it earlier for slightly better seats, but I came away happy! The musicians performed more like a duet than either being a soloist - perfection.
Joshua Bell is one of the best violinists in the world and it was a joy to hear him play. However, he barely spoke to audience and there was no engagement whatsoever. There is no reason for such an aloof performing style.

The musical selections on the program were absolutely fantastic, and Bell's performance was just riveting! The ensemble was amazing. My only criticism was that Asheville Bravo Concerts didn't print enough programs. I purchased two tickets but didn't get a single program.
The Chinese Acrobats Were Fantastic. They put on a fast paced, yet not frenetic display. Very colorful, athletic and at times beyond belief in what is possible for the human body to do physically. I had front row seats so it was even more impressive. Other than the loud, angry bitch sitting next to me, it wasa 5 star show.
Its hard to describe entertainment that's so out of the ordinary and as exciting as this was. These incredibly talented young folks from China seemed to magically float in air and do balancing and juggling acts that are simply astounding. All I can say is.... Do not miss this show. You'll be talking about this special experience for a long time after you see it.
