Blackberry Smoke on Tour
Though they've had their biggest success in the country market, the guys in Blackberry Smoke are rock 'n' rollers at heart. When they hit the concert stage, that becomes immediately apparent, but of course, so does the twangy side of their sound. Ultimately, what comes across is a roots-rocking blend that incorporates the influences of classic Southern rock, '70s/'80s heartland rockers and yes, a dash of modern country. And whether they're delivering a chugging good-time tune like "Rock and Roll Again" or a reflective ballad like "Let Me Down Easy," what comes through the loudest is the band's authenticity. These ol' boys are the real deal, playing it their own way with no nonsense and no rock-star moves. And since they do exactly what they feel, don't be surprised if that extends to covers of songs by their favorite artists such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Blackberry Smoke in Concert
Blackberry Smoke has always done things their own way, rising to stardom by building an audience from the ground up, remaining resolutely independent and staying true to their roots. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000, with singer/guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist Paul Jackson, and brothers Richard and Brit Turner on bass and drums, respectively, and that lineup remained intact into their breakthrough and beyond, adding keyboardist Brandon Still in 2009. They released their debut album, Bad Luck Ain't No Crime, in 2003, but it wasn't until their third album, 2012's The Whippoorwill, that Blackberry Smoke started achieving major commercial traction. Their next record, 2015's Holding All the Roses, reached No. 1 on the country charts as well as No. 29 on the pop tally, underscoring the band's pan-genre appeal. Their homegrown blend of Southern rock and country has remained authentic and untainted through it all.

This has to be THE BEST casino show I have ever attended. I can honestly say these guys are showmen who came to put on a show! I will definetly go see them again. They were that good! I'm telling you if you like good old fashioned rock music, you need to make a point to see this band. WOW.
What a wonderful performance. Great show. Glad I drove from Mississippi to Baton Rouge to see them.
Blackberry Smoke always puts on a fantastic show and this one did not disappoint! The band is fun, energetic and the sound is amazing! This is the most underrated band around in my opinion!
BlackBerry Smoke exceeded any expectations I had for this group.. even better in person than on UTube ..
To sum it up, Blackberry Smoke is the best band touring today! I've been to their live shows numerous times and it never gets old. They mix up the set list from show to show and deliver a great performance every time. If you haven't been to a BBS show you are missing out and you need to go to one to see for yourself!
We have gone to see Blackberry Smoke 14 times and the shiw at St Louis Pageant was about the best one yet. This band always does a good show. Hope to meet the band someday.
Blackberry Smoke is the best group out there today by far every member is so talented and great down to earth guys.
It was a great show, both Blackberry Smoke and Duanne Bets. Nice surprise with Devon Alliance coming out with both bands
Venue was clean and easy to navigate through. Band was excellent in all aspects!! Can’t wait to see this band again!!
Blackberry Smoke is hands down one of the best live bands out there. I've seen then 3 times and they just get better each time. The Pageant was awesome as usual, sound and lights were perfect and everyone seemed to be having a good time! Check em out!
show was great need to be more reserved seats stood in line for 45 minutes in cramped bar to try and get seat
Blackberry Smoke was in great form this past Friday (04/12) in STL - they put together and played a simply awesome set - easily the best show that I have seen of there's!!!!
Frontman Charlie Starr & the Blackberry Smoke band rocked the Roxy in Pittsburgh PA! Charlie is a great guitarist & his country rock band is very accomplished. Fans know all the songs. We hope they return to Pittsburgh & Pompano Beach FL. Duane Betts opened in Pittsburgh. Son of Dickie Betts (Allman Brothers), he's really great, backed by a really good band. Don't miss Blackberry Smoke or Duane Betts.
Awesome venue! Guys rocked again second time I’ve seen them this year!
The band was absolutely fantastic. Charlie’s voice was superb, just as the rest of the band was. The opener, Soul Miners Union, was amazing as well. The venue was great, entry and re-entry were easy, and the staff were wonderful. The ONLY negative I could describe has absolutely NOTHING to do with the band or the venue - some of the people attending were WILD. I was in the GA pit, dead center and in front. There was a minor scuffle, which ended up tumbling into my guest and I. Then, for the rest of the concert, some yahoo kept yelling and jumping at inappropriate times during the show… I know it’s a rock concert, I’ve been to upwards of 100 shows, but this feller was OBNOXIOUS. In the middle of an acoustic song, Azalea, when all were listening intently, came a barrage of “WOOOO! YEAHH!!” from the hyena standing directly behind me. Same guy was being a little too “friendly” to a couple of the women at the show, to the point that one literally had said to me “that guy is creeping me out”. To sum up - GREAT band, GREAT venue, MOSTLY good people. Would definitely come back for both the band and the venue.
Charlie Starr and the boys lit up the Cleveland night with an electric performance. I was awestruck! Wishing them all the best for the remainder of the grueling tour ahead of them.
Great show. The band came out ready to go. Played for over 2 hours. Really sound great. They are smooth as hell The Temple has great acoustics. Nice small venue. Prices are very good.
Excellent show. 28th time seeing them, can't wait for next show
First time seeing Blackberry Smoke live. Excellent concert! Loved the performance and will definitely see them again.
