Great show. Samantha Fish and Sgt Splendor were great
Samantha Fish rocked the house! I knew she could shred, but she's a better singer than I thought. The band was tiiiight! The bass and keyboard players were both pros. Drummer was banging hell out of the skins! Encore with Sgt Splendor was a great jam. Hope she comes back to Jackson soon!
As always, Samantha Fish and her band played their hearts out. I left the show more than satisfied with what I got, but still want more, of that makes sense. Sgt. Splendor put on a solid opening set, too.
Samantha Fish is awesome. So much talent and spirit. Second time I've seen her. Loved the venue too.
I've been following Samantha for years, and her shows never disappoint. She brings 100% every show, and is always so gracious with her fans. This show in particular was very intimate, as the venue was really small and the stage was only knee high. My wife and I were up front and it was like we were standing right beside Sam for the entire show. Just an amazing musician and singer, and her energy and passion are incredible, which is why I go see her every chance I get!
Samantha Fish absolutely killed it! Played her heart out and brought the place down!
Truly a great show, blew me away. Samantha Fish is an incredible talent. Great place to see such a great show.
Samantha Fish tore it up. Seeing her in person was amazing. I love her voice and all of her beautiful guitars. We were right up front. Had a great night.
I had never heard of Samantha Fish before, but a friend had an extra ticket for me to go. I was blown away! Her live performance was probably the best I've been to in years. Blues guitar playing at its finest and her vocals were fire! I've since listened to her on Spotify and I can honestly say that her live show is even better than her studio recordings. I will go see her again any time she comes to town.
We had an amazing time at the show, and Samantha sounded outstanding! She doesn’t hold anything back, and there’s so much energy in her shows. If you have the opportunity to see her, do not miss it! Saint Andrews Hall is a great place for live music. As long as you don’t mind standing! It was clean, friendly, and quick, bartenders, and an updated clean large bathroom.
Her albums are great but she is amazing live and a must see
Good musicianship, but if you are expecting blues and the “old” Samantha you’ll likely be disappointed. Loud and fast rock, with a little bit of blues chord progressions here and there, (and a mediocre acoustic set mid concert) but not the blues. She wants to be a rock star and I guess that’s ok for some. (Just look at the photo). It was not our cup of tea and we left a bit early when it became evident that it was not going to change. Also a bit too much of Samantha coaxing the audience to cheer during Jesse solos, and vice versa. Good solos do not need audience coaxing. Overall a disappointment for us blues lovers.
She is an incredibly talented vocalist and guitar player. But really knows how to put on a great show and get the audience engaged. just so well done. unfortunately, the opening act was awful
She is a great profomer, singer and guitarist. Great energy and enthusiasm.
I have been to many Samantha Fish shows. This is great collaboration.
Venue: Always a good venue but very packed in front. Would be better with a few less tables. Sam/Jesse: Outstanding as usual, third time seeing them over last 12 months and they never fail to disappoint!!
Always a pleasure to experience a concert at the intimate Wilbur theatre and the energetic powerhouse Samantha Fish unleashed her full talents on stage with a blistering barrage of rock, blues and country music to the enthralled audience from her latest LP Death Wish. She did not disappoint her fans and had them on their feet throughout the 100 minute set.
Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton were fantastic. The opening act (Sargent Splendor) was a pleasant suprise. All around excellent all electric blues artists.
Samantha always brings her best, had a great time! Already bought tickets to the next show.
The Egg (Albany NY) is a cool place with what I have been told has some great acoustic possibilities. Lots of fan Sunday were super happy with the show but a little down about the sound mixing. Samatha is one hard working gal. She never let up for a minute. She wanted everyone present to have a great time. Her band was super tight. Jesse Dayton is a great performer and has that Texas drawl that has blues singer written all over it. They played well off of each other's talents. The opening band Sgt. Splender was a great choice to warm up the audience. This couple had energy to burn, and they truly were happy to be part of the evening. Kate Vargus has a fantastic voice and Mcfadden can make that guitar sing the blues. Looking forward to seeing them rise up in the charts and benefit from their hard work and sacrifices to entertain us. Cheers to Samatha Fish
