Lindsey Stirling in Concert

Lindsey Stirling's unconventional combination of classical violin and dubstep beats coupled with a ballet-type dancing style has garnered more than 3.5 million subscribers and counting on her YouTube channel, Lindseystomp. Indeed the outre performance artist has paved her own way, working with director/cinematographer Devin Graham to produce her series of uniquely styled videos. She's also independently released an eponymous debut via her own Lindseystomp label. That collection not only took the top spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart, but also earned gold certification in three European nations. On her first tour Stirling hit more than 120 markets worldwide, including concerts in packed houses across North America. The California native was dubbed the “hip hop violinist” when she performed for Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel on season five of “America’s Got Talent”, and although they didn't grant her a golden ticket to the next round she's made a name and career for herself by combining classical music with EDM for legions of adoring fans.

    what an amazing experience!!!

by Lucca on 1/3/24Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

i went to this concert knowing nothing about Lindsey Stirling, other than my niece wanted to see her. we were a little late, which i regret as we missed the opening, but what an amazing show! this Woman is super talented-the Violin music was incredible, her singing was great, and the her and her dancer's Ballet talent was out of this world- all creating a mesmerizing experience--- even if the tickets were at the top of the venue. i can only imagine how awesome it would have looked from a normal vantage point. I would highly recommend that people expand their minds and give something they aren't familiar with a try! There is a good chance you will be happy you did!

    Excellent Show

by Brian on 1/3/24Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

The concert was excellent - the music, the lights, everything about the performance. The theater could use a little work - while the walls and ceiling were pretty, the seats were pretty worn. We arrived at the theater at least 30 minutes in advance, and it took almost all of that time to get in due to slow-moving lines. Theater staff were trying to distribute people across the lines, but were fairly rude while doing so. We were only sitting in our seats for a few minutes before the performance started, so I am glad that we didn't show up any later.

    AMAZING

Not only were the songs selected perfect for a Holiday Show but they were played so well right side up or upside down or on stage or high heels n the air. VERY ENJOYABLE!

by Jess on 1/3/24Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

It was personal, real, and intensely amazing! Only issue was it was slow getting into this venue so it started late, but the show itself was 10/10.

    A great night!

by SolarBird on 12/31/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Lindsey Stirling and her team put on a wonderful Christmas concert in Syracuse. She acknowledged the snow we recently had and really seemed to care about the audience. The variety in musical performance, dancing and acrobatics was amazing. My kids and I hope that she'll be back in Syracuse again!

Great Show, but not the VIP Experience

by MountainmanPA on 12/18/23The Santander Arena - Reading

This was the third time seeing Lindsey Stirling perform and the second Christmas Show. This time I splurged to get the full VIP Experience including the Meet and Greet. The stage performance was well worth it, as usual. An excellent and entertaining performance by Lindsey and her crew. However, the VIP Experience was a little disappointing. The seats were great but the pre-show event did not meet my expectations. The lady supervising the experience was great, Lacey, and she watched over this part of the event extremely well. First disappointment was for the refreshments at the beginning of the event. There weren't enough tables and seats for all of the attendees and many had to stand. The refreshments were good but it's hard to enjoy them standing and holding a plate, a drink, and the swag bags given out. There was a trivia contest but since the area for refreshments encompassed a lengthy portion of the concourse those of us in the rear could not hear the speaker at the other end, they should have taken a position in the middle of the tables. Then came the photos with Lindsey and that was the most disappointing. Just before going to the photo area one of the crew made announcements that Lindsey would not be signing anything (we hoped to get something autographed for my two college age daughters who couldn't attend because of classes, and they both love Lindsey and attended two other shows.) He also said to not ask Lindsey any questions and do not hug Lindsey. The least I expected was to be able to spend about a minute per photo group (single, couples, or families) during the photo shoot to talk to Lindsey, wish her a Merry Christmas, or tell her how much we love her music, videos, and concerts. The way the crew guy put it, it sounded like none of this was allowed, basically pose for the photo and move on. I'll still go to see Lindsey perform when I get the opportunity for the foreseeable future but because of this VIP Experience it's not worth the high cost for anything other than the good seats.

    Enjoyable Christmas concert

by Bill on 12/18/23Van Andel Arena - Grand Rapids

Purchased this concert as a gift for my girlfriend, who is a big fan of Lindsey Stirling. Having never seen her before, I was impressed by her ability to play violin while spinning like a top. The concert was a collection of Christmas vignettes, intersticed with a visual comic to cover costume changes. There was also a fair amount of arial work, which was a surprise. Production values are hgh; the show is heartfelt and clean--all ages.

    Awesome Christmas Gift to Myself

by Bre on 12/18/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

I've always wanted to see Lindsey Stirling in person. When I found out she was coming to Syracuse, I decided to treat myself to an early Christmas gift to go see her. I do not regret it. It was an awesome concert and she is absolutely amazing, as an artist and a person.

    Amazing

by Anita on 12/18/23Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

This was the time being at Landmark theater. What an amazing experience. I wish they could accommodate the shorter kids better with seeing (like seat risers)
