Show was a total bummer. It seemed like the band played great, but the sound quality from the Chicano Batman sound guy was utterly awful, and unbearable. I've been to lots of shows at the Fox where the sound was great, including the following night, as well as the opening band for Chicano Batman. But for their set, the sound quality was so bad, and among the worst I've ever heard.
It was hard to enjoy their great music, and we eventually couldn't take anymore, and had to leave. I felt bad for the band, as they're playing great and really putting their hearts and souls into it, and playing great music. But when the sound quality is that bad, the fans can't even enjoy it the way it's supposed to be enjoyed. (it was way, way too loud - to the point of hurting your ears and uncomfortable; as well as not crisp at all)
