So much fun! Talented band, great songs from my lord and savior, Prince Rogers Nelson.
Great show! Excited to see Princess again when they are in town nect. My only complaint is that the show started an hour late with no opener.
The show was great with the exception of two things, they took forever to come out. Doors opened at 7:00 and the show was supposed to start at 8:00. It didn’t start until 10 after 9. Second, they played a song and spun off it to sing other jingles like the theme to Cheers and more. They spun off too much and it wasn’t funny after the second or third spin off. Other than that, they were great but would’ve preferred more Prince cover songs instead of the spin-off.
This was my second time seeing Princess and they did not disappoint. They both have amazing voices and their backing band were very talented too! I love the banter between the group and the audience. They even played theme songs from 80’s sitcoms and the crowd sang with them! Great show!
Such a unique and fun experience. Thank you for celebrating the Purple One's music with us ♡
Took a few girlfriends with me and we had the most silly ridiculous fun we have had in decades. Princess puts on a fantastic show and transports you to pre-Covid, NYC-esque good times. A breath of fresh air. And the Bellwether is a great venue.
Great and superbly entertaining show however they were over an hour late. Standing room only and standing since the doors opened at 7 PM does not bode well for an 8 PM showtime that started well after 9 PM. Other than that, I honestly have no complaints.
I LOVE this band so much. Fun and talented. The venue however was not the best for this kind of show IMO. Not many places for people to sit. The VIP lounge isn’t some place you can see the live show but rather a TV. The parking was VERY stressful.
For these women to do Prince songs justice is incredible. They make me miss Prince all that much more. They were great, funny, and worth going to see. They had me dancing, clapping and singing along the whole show. I’d love to see them every time they come to my area to play. That they did their show at the old Glam Slam made it that much more special.
Princess is a Prince Cover band featuring Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum. If you like Prince- check them out if they come to your town- so much fun! Special guests at this #losangeles show were @haimtheband and Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman from @therevolution
