Superb musicianship
by emorej on 2/21/15Library of Congress - WashingtonI have attended many concerts at the Library of Congress, and this was one of the best. The program was excellent. The rarely played, lyrical Schumann Piano Trio No. 2 began the program followed by his Humoresque, in which Goode brought out all the sweetness and strength. The energetic Brahms Piano Quartet No. 2 which ended the program was ensemble playing at its finest - the intonation and elan of the string players, combined with Goode's musicality, was breathtaking.
