A Sunny Day at the Real Estate of a Life's Dream.

by Brad W. on 10/23/23Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - Nashville

I awoke on my birthday early and made the drive from Fayetteville AR. to Nashville TN. I checked into my hotel, (an eight minute walk to the venue) got ready and found some good fish tacos. I got to the venue a little early and waited in line for a bit, then again waiting inside (anticipation at an all time high). The opener Pool Kids were good, I like there style. Then Sunny Day starts appearing on stage. From then on, I'm dancing, jumping, absolutely lost in the experience. They sounded so crisp and on point, it was like a beautiful dream i didn't want to wake from. Holy Cow, a good day to have ones face melted off musically.

    Awesome venue

by Aqua on 10/23/23Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - Nashville

Had an awesome experience at this venue. Soiling was on point, lots of space and different levels so shorter people could see and enjoy. Great vibe.

Better live than studio! Incredible and LOUD

    by A.r on 8/27/23

Phenomenal from beginning to end with no dull/lackluster moments. The vocals were the best I've heard live, Jeremy is truly one of a kind with this beautiful eerie voice. Small venues make this show flourish, we interact with the band who is responsive and expressive of their gratitude for our presence. Thanked us several times and acknowledged we sung along to their more obscure tracks. Traveled over 3 hours by public transportation and a mini hike from the Bronx to see this and after seeing it, i woulda traveled 10 easily. Keep this in mind, they are LOUD. Sdre live videos online you barely hear Jeremy not cause he sings low but i think our cameras cannot take all that banging clanging then also get those vocals balanced. They face each other n riff, they turn their backs and face the drummer till the perfect moment..very in sync with one another and perform one badass set. Every song would make me wanna cry, then semi-enraged, then in the gutter, then soaring with an angel, "Seven"I literally tried to start a small mosh but nobody around me took YET I apologized a bunch for bumping, and everyone at Toads place was so forgiving and kind..lovely crowd to have the honor of being part of. I have seen Blink, Taking Back Sunday & Fall Out Boy this year, SDRE is the one i would suggest above all and that is hurtful to myself cuz Blink is my top guys..but wow..SDRE 10/10. OH toads place is mad chill, nothing crazy, nothing lackluster, modest, and complimentary to the bands persona of modesty.

    by A. J. on 5/22/23The Paramount - Huntington

I have seen them several times over the years and I don't know what else to say other than they're incredible every time. Definitely a band I will always go to see each and every time they're in my area.

I love the Roxian theater but I'd love to see more ventilation in the space & more mask encouragement.

The venue was perfect for SDRE. They were tight and played a little bit off of every album. A truly great show.

They Sounded Just Like The Old Days!

by Future Boy on 4/13/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I was a little nervous that after not releasing an album for over 20 years that the boys in SDRE may not sound good…. But man, they have not missed a beat! They sounded just as great and energetic as they ever did. Super impressed by the quality of the mix and the tightness of the band as a unit. My only complaint with the show itself is the audience was dead as hell. I swear people at LA shows rarely allow themselves to just let go, rock out and enjoy themselves. They are too concerned with looking cool instead of having a blast. But me and a few other people throughout the crowd made up for it; head banging and contorting whole heartedly. Would love to see SDRE release a new record. They still got it after all these years!!

    Great show

by Veer Chasm on 4/12/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The band remains legendary. The sound was very nice. Employees at the Wiltern were friendly and helpful. The seating was confusing, our seats were numbered odd while there were even numbered seats in between. 3 different groups of people had to figure it out in between sets. Overpriced drinks. The facility, including the bathrooms, were kept very clean. Overall a good experience.

    Bad sound. Couldn’t see.

by dino on 4/12/23The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I love Sunny Day. Saw them at the troubadour, the ford, the palace… just a great band. The Wiltern sucks. The sound was mush and if you’re not 6’2” it’s impossible to see anything. What a waste of money and time. I’m happy they sold out such a large venue.

    by A. W. on 4/12/23

Tour didn’t make it to Memphis so flew to L.A. to see with friends. Not only was the music exceptionally amazing… the entire band seemed to have a blast. So thankful to finally see/ feel the magic of one of the best bands of my lifetime live.

Sunny Day Real Estate was...Wow. Just. Wow.

by Rob on 4/9/23The Van Buren - Phoenix

So if this band is anywhere near you, you've got to put your plans aside and go see them. AMAZING! IT honestly was one of the best shows I've seen in 20 years. They were genuine, tight, and put on a fabulous show. These guys were so cool. They thanked the crowd numerous times, saying that the love the crowd gave them was beyond amazing. These guys were playing from their toes, the music pouring out like a dam had burst. At one point, the lead guitarist spoke to the crowd, almost with tears in his eyes...he was so thankful. And then he stood right in front of us and just riffed for like 40 measures, the rest of the band watching him waiting for the cue to continue the song. What a blessing. I'm so lucky to have seen them. Keep rocking, SDRE!

    Epic show

by Chuck on 4/9/23The Van Buren - Phoenix

A couple of firsts, my first time at The Van Buren and also my first chance to see Sunny Day Real Estate. Neither let me down. The Van Buren was a great venue and SDRE were fantastic. Goldsmith was a monster on the drums and they sound as good as ever. If you get the chance go see this show.
