“Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.” is an international exhibition of over 700 artifacts collected from Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and various institutions that tell the story of Auschwitz, the deadliest complex of concentration camps employed by Nazi Germany during The Holocaust. Also featuring an additional 400 photos from the era, “Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.” has continued to travel across the globe as a special limited engagement in order to share “a story to shake the conscience of the world.”

Overall, the exhibit was very nice, very well done. I thought I would be "moved"more than I was; it did not impact me in an emotional way. I supposed it was to be more educational. I found the listening device frustrating both mine and my wife's were a little dirty feeling AND at a few parts it was difficult to get them to work and we skipped several parts out of that frustration.
Its sad to actually see real life artifacts of how they suffered and how it all became.
I was surprised how emotional I was to this exhibit. I have read about and watched documentaries about Auschwitz but actually seeing those tiny shoes and socks and belongings made it so unbelievable horrific that I will never ever let hate enter my mind or soul.
It was a powerful experience. Remind of the past and how we can be better in the future.
This is a powerful reminder of the evil that man can perpetrate on others. The exhibits bring life to a history that must not be allowed to happen again. The exhibit of a child's single shoe with a sock neatly tucked into it brought a shiver to spine. Women and children quietly sitting or standing about waiting to go to the gas chamber gave pause . I am thinking of revisiting this once- in-a lifetime exhibit as there was so much to take in. Highly recommended to all!
I shall always remember my visit to the Auschwitz Exhibition in Boston. The exhibit is very well displayed, so as to portray the evolution of the Jewish people and their deadly and horrific persecution by Adolph Hitler and the Nazis. The Exhibition's use of phones, videos, audio clips, maps, photographs, letters, etc., is excellent in telling the stories of the Holocaust victims. Although historians have provided explanations of Hitler's rise to power, it seems beyond explanation that there ever existed on this earth such "Man's inhumanity to man."
My husband and I were very moved to see artifacts that could've belonged to his family who were murdered in Auschwitz. I was also glad to see students in attendance.

This experience was amazing. Though heart wrenching that this even happened in our history, it is important that we know all about it in order to not repeat it. This exhibit was so informative and respectful. Glad I got to experience it.
Great info on the awful part of Earths history. So sad it wasn’t stopped earlier. The exhibit was long with some duplicate info, same horrible story, different location or people. Good to educate the young people since it is skimmed over in schools. Yes, they need to know even if it scares them. Everyone needs to be aware of these events. Maybe it will help it not to happen again.
