I thought it was very good but $100 was way too much.
It was a great little escape into Matilda land. I thoroughly enjoyed it as an adult. I really like the Slow Burn productions. I just started trying them out and will be getting season tickets for next season.
The cast is great. All children perform really well but the girl performing Matilda looks like she has botox all over her face. No facial expressions at all. We got surprised to learn that she is 10 years old. Beautiful voice but robotic performance, not organic. It's quite impressive how she can change the emotions with the voice without moving a muscle in her face. Of course, follows well directions on movements, but doesn't feel natural. I would say that she is the worst Matilda I've ever seen!
The singing was awesome as well as the a acting. It was great seeing our great grandson belting out his songs and animations. The entire cast was marvelous!
The cast was wonderful, Matilda is a star. Yet I found many innuendos in the play that I consider were inappropriate for children.
Matilda the Musical was start to finish spectacular! It was obvious that the team behind the production did not cut corners. From the performance of the magnificent 10 year old breakout star who played Matilda, to the passionate dancing and singing of each member of the ensemble, all you could do was nod in approval. Kudos to them, and Bravo!
I thought it was absolutely Incredible. The actors where fantastic. The costumes where amazing. It felt like I was in Broadway. I will definitely go to other plays that this company does.
This is an incredible musical, incredibly put together and Matilda ( Saheli Khan) is an amazing performer at such young age! The whole cast was just perfect !
Matilda was amazing! We enjoyed every moment. đđđđđđ had an amazing voice and she had us connecting with the character every moment of the play.
