This play was amazing I loved how almost every scene they had a new costume. Their singing was really good and you were able to hear the words clearly. I loved the dress that Ti Moune wore at the end of the show after she turned into a tree.

I had never seen this show and I wanted to have the experience with my kids of seeing something for the first time with them. We could not have chosen a better show to do this. It was magnificent, amazing dancing in our seats. As soon as we left kids said they wanted to go see it again. The troop of actors we have here are amazing and seeing my kids make the connections with them and looking in the playbill to see who was in this show. It's a truly remarkable experience. They have single handedly made my kids fall in love with Theater. Thank you! Remember its a must see show!!!

This theatre troup is top notch. The actors are so freaking amazing. The stage, production, sound, and of course actors are Broadway grade. Every seat is good. I love Slow Burn Shows.

Once On This Island is the story of an orphaned brown peasant girl who finds her supposedly godly calling to be saving the life of her would-be lover and husband - the entitled son of the local Ruler. The story is rich with detail and elicits strong responses about the interaction between birth rights, race and love. The music is powerfully delivered and the dance, heavy with African, Caribbean and other aboriginal influence, delightful. The casting is inspired and the lead transition from child to adult was seamlessly executed. A great night out!!!
