About

Kurtis Conner on Tour

Canadian comedian, podcaster, YouTube sensation and songwriter Kurtis Conner can now add national headliner to his resume. As he kicks off Kurtis Conner On Tour in 2022, expect this sell-out performer to bring his funniest material yet to the stage. Conner's oh-so-relatable brand of comedy featuring his trademark critiques of everything from popular products to pop culture, and songs like the hilariously catchy "Pinocchio Diss Track," will have fans clutching their sides. And Conner is bringing reinforcements to make sure every show is hysterical from the time the doors open to the last joke. The live show will feature Conner's "Very Really Good" podcast co-hosts Dean Hebscher and Jacob Sharpe.

Kurtis Conner Live

Kurtis Conner was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1994, where he later performed his first stand-up shows and studied comedy writing and performance at Humber College. In 2014, he had amassed around 350,000 followers on the viral, yet short-lived, Vine app. Although Vine was destined to disappear, Conner used the recognition he had gained online to start a YouTube channel and begin touring stand-up shows all over Canada in 2014. By 2016, he had released his debut stand-up record Cuppla Jokes, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Comedy chart and No. 1 on iTunes. Conner's YouTube fans can't seem to get enough of his characteristic thoughtful irreverence and wacky video editing techniques. As of 2022, his YouTube channel has over 3.9 million followers, and his clips frequently hit the Top 10 trending page. While most of his videos are lighthearted critiques of movies or popular trends, he has resonated with fans for occasionally taking a stand against offensive or problematic online content. In 2019, he gained recognition for calling out a pair of TikTok stars for jokingly portraying domestic violence situations, and he ended up raising $26,000 for domestic violence awareness.

    Cringy at times but hilarious

    by K. S. on 11/16/22

Poor guy was so sick, the mom in me wanted him to go rest! But, they put on a good show. Not for the faint of heart, a little raunchy and I saw some littler kids there. Couldn’t imagine bringing under 13 or so. I took my teenager + two friends and they were RAVING. Lots of talk about anti-vaxx which I feel is incredibly overdone, but unlike many others I felt the openers were really good.

    LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

by Kurtis Conner fan slay on 11/12/22Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

The show was amazing! I loved every second of it! This was a first time for me to go to a Kurtis Conner show, and it was way better than what I thought it was going to be! Hopefully Kurtis, Jacob and Dean can come back to Vancouver next year. Love you guys <3

Kurtis rocks, Dean sucked, venue okay

by JJ on 11/7/22Moore Theatre - Seattle

The venue was surprisingly poor at handling the event: the seating was moderately confusing for many (so people were walking around for a while). The openers were both funny YouTubers and while Jacob Sharpe was pretty fun, the other guy Dean was honestly obnoxious and “edgy” in a really discordant way to the others. I was worried I didn’t know what I signed up for after his set but luckily Kurtis was very funny.

    Great show!

by Fairywoman on 11/7/22Moore Theatre - Seattle

I went with my two daughters to this show. We all watch Kurtis on YouTube together. We saw him at The Moore in Seattle for the second show. We had a great time! Kurtis was hilarious as expected but I didn’t know his friends were coming and how funny they would be. Jacob had me in tears from laughter.

    Amazing Show

by Vickie on 11/7/22Moore Theatre - Seattle

Been watching 2 out of the 3 guys for years and they didn't disappoint. Can't remember the last time I laughed like that. My husband who had no idea who these people were walked out loving them. The only complaint is how long the merchandise line took cause it was only 1 person during what was a sold out show. I missed Dean's entire set due to it.

The best thing that I’ve ever seen

by Ellie on 11/7/22Moore Theatre - Seattle

Openers were perfect, thank you Jacob and Dean, intros were funny and exciting, Kurtis was hilarious, production was well done and the comedy was out of this world. I’m only 14 and I can tell this is the best standup show I’ll see.

Kinda Bummed - Dude. Did he bomb the Sac show?

by L. W. on 11/6/22SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - Sacramento

My kids and I drove all the way from Reno to Sacramento to see Kurtis. I had looked at his previous shows and he was so energetic. He would pull people on stage and really engage the audience. This is absolutely not the experience we had. Kurtis appeared exhausted. After looking at his Instagram I see he’s been spending all of our money at ridiculous sporting events which are making him exhausted because he goes to them right before his show. He seems scared of the audience. Not engaging. He called everybody crazy and stupid and there was literally someone with Tourette’s syndrome in the front row. My kids and I suffer from mental illness as well. I think a lot of his fans do and I don’t understand why he would make fun of us when usually on his YouTube page he’s so supportive. It’s like we saw the real him when he was tired and grouchy. I think he bombed the Sac show! We should all get our money back!!! The kids and I were looking forward to this for so long and it was fun for us to be together but I am not member of Kurtistown anymore after this. I feel like I just wasted a ton of money on a spoiled little brat who spends it on millionaire athletes. Like, get a new manager, dude. You’re supposed to be awake during the show. You’re supposed to want to do it. Smart to have a super depressing cancer comedian go on before you though…

    Meh

by Becca on 11/4/22Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Kurtis was, fine. He's a cute guy with a lovable personality, (we share the same birthday actually) however his stand-up was lacking. I took my 12-year old as they love his Youtube videos. They said after, why does he talk so much about Covid? As an adult I wondered the same thing. And his openers were terrible. Straight up hetero-male humor. I think Kurtis could do a better 90-minute set than allows these weirdos to open (Dean was weird, Jacob was OK but annoying.)

    First Comedy Show

by Reese on 11/3/22Balboa Theatre - San Diego

This was my first comedy show ever and I didn’t really know what to expect. I’m so glad I went though! The venue was gorgeous, and the three acts (Jacob, Dean, and Kurtis) all had such unique energy and comedic styles. I loved seeing them and I would absolutely do it all again.

    Fun Show

by Ev on 11/2/22Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Kurtis Conner performed a good set. His audience work was fun and had good material. His two openers were a little bland and not as entertaining. If you like to watch their YouTube videos then you would like their stand up.

    Great show!

by Liz on 11/1/22Wilshire Ebell Theatre - Los Angeles

I had such a great time, my seats were on the orchestra level in the left corner near the last row but the Ebell Theater is pretty small but the view was great! Even though we were near the back we could still see the performers and with the venue being smaller the show felt more intimate! Loved the show!

Couldn't go and KC would not allow resale of the tickets

by S. R. on 11/1/22Wilshire Ebell Theatre - Los Angeles

I was unable to attend the event, and Kurtis Conner did not allow resale of the tickets so I wasted over $225 and left empty seats in the venue. That sucked.
