Shane Gillis is a stand-up comic, actor, and writer from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. After winning Philly's Funniest at Helium Comedy Club in 2016 Shane was named an "Up-Next" Comic at Comedy Central's 2019 Clusterfest in San Francisco and a "New Face" at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. In 2021, Gillis released his debut comedy special Shane Gillis: Live in Austin on YouTube which has been viewed over 6 million times. Gillis is one-half of the comedy fan favorite Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast. He's a regular guest on Sirius XM's The Bonfire, Spotify's The Joe Rogan Experience, and Barstool Sports KFC Radio. Shane was a writer on Comedy Central's Delco Proper and co-created, wrote, and starred in the YouTube hit sketch series Gilly & Keeves. In October of 2022, Shane and John McKeever partnered with Booklight Entertainment and Outback Presents to produce and release Gilly & Keeves: The Special on GillyandKeeves.tv. Most recently, Shane can be seen playing 'Gilly' in the upcoming season of Peacock's Bupkis opposite Pete Davidson, Joe Pesci, and Edie Falco.

Not like workshopping material to add to a set, just whatever came to mind. Also the ironic fan base who don't understand they are the joke were acting like morons disrupting the show.

We drove for almost two hours, paid close to $600 and the comedians were basically practicing new material or didn’t really have any. Shane even commented how all his material was used on the Netflix special. Then why are u charging so much for a large venue and barely have enough for a set? My husband enjoyed himself and that’s all that matters, and it was somewhat funny but I had higher expectations and it was robbery how much we paid for that show, not worth it.

I watched his Netflix special after the live show and as good as the special was, he's even better live. IU auditorium is a beautiful facility, but getting to it is a nightmare. Access to the auditorium is my one and only complaint.

I bought the tickets 2 months before the show and was psyched. I watched his new special when it came out and was wildly disappointed when half of his show was the exact material from his special that he put out 2 weeks before. Very frustrating and I won’t be spending money to see him live ever again
