Flute and a young band -- not the Ann I saw a few years ago
Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego
Not coming back. Big Heart fan, and have also seen both her and her sister individually. Prior concert (2016?) was amazing. But should have skipped this years concert. Flute was terrible (not Ian Anderson - and it was just a poor distraction from the lack of songs performed), band was off on rifts throughout, and the Ann's vocals, for the first time, just were not strong enough to warrant another concert. Love seeing these older performers, but she didn't come close to her old talent, and was the worst performance of the 70+ year olds we saw this year. Sad to see too, the young band that was more off on its own, than with Ann. Most of the older performers, at least brought a band from their era.

Excellent Show!
Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft Lauderdale
It’s been said many times before, but if Wilson was a man, she would be an even bigger legend than she already is. Seeing her at this price in this intimate of a venue was surreal. She had a band of top tier, amazingly talented performers with her. The covers came across as stunning as her original hits. Yes her voice was a bit strained in the 2nd act, but it hasn’t lost its power, and even as she enters her 70’s, she is a force to witness. If this show came back next week, I’d do it again in a minute!

Ann Wilson...Girlfriend Still Got It!
Mars Music Hall - Huntsville
Ann Wilson is still a singing tour de force. Vocals strong as ever, and her new back-up band, Tripsitter, is a professional group of outstanding musicians; brilliant dueling guitar work. They did some Heart, some Led Zep, David Bowie, and John Lennon along with new tunes from their album, Another Door. I videoed several songs but wish I had filmed the entire show...it was that good!

Fun show
Mars Music Hall - Huntsville
The show was terrific! Ann’s voice is still amazing. Besides playing some new songs, they did most of the Heart songs you would want to hear. Our only complaint is that Mars is a small venue and it was way too loud.

voice good, but not song selection
Mars Music Hall - Huntsville
It may be my fault, but I expected to hear more Heart songs. I don't care about a new album for a 73 yr old singer. I go to concerts to sing along to songs. She sang a couple of Led Zeppelin songs, which were good. I'd have rather heard her cover an entire LZ concert than sing songs from a new album. Her voice still sounds good, although she does clip some notes short. I saw Heart in 2016 and they were phenomenal!!

Ann can still belt out those tunes!
Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft Lauderdale
Omg. Ive seen Ann Wilson with and without Nancy multiple times. I’ve seen then with Jason Bonham. But this show was above and beyond. Tripsitter is an amazing band I really enjoyed this show! And I love the Parker! Close to where I live, free parking, small venue, not a bad seat in the house! I just wish there were cup holders! As far as I’m concerned, that little thing is the only problem. Lol.

Ann Wilson Live in Concert
Ann Wilson was born in San Diego, California, but due to the nature of her father's military career -- a former Marine who was also a musician and singer who once led the U.S. Marine Corps band -- the Wilson family moved around a lot before settling in Seattle, Washington. Ann Wilson first gained fame in the 1970s as the lead singer for Heart, the rock band formed in 1963 by bassist Steve Fossen and brothers Roger Fisher and Mike Fisher. In 1974, Ann's sister, Nancy Wilson, joined the band on guitar. With her powerful vocals, Ann Wilson scored several hits for Heart, including "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man" -- both of which were co-written by the Wilson sisters -- from the band's debut album, Dreamboat Annie. Heart went on to sell more than 35 million records and earned an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
In 2007, Ann Wilson released her first solo album, Hope and Glory, featuring inventive covers of songs by artists who inspired her own music. The album features guest appearances by artists including Shawn Colvin, Elton John, Wynonna Judd, Alison Krauss, k.d. lang, and Rufus Wainwright. Her sophomore solo album, 2018's Immortal, features unique covers of songs by artists who have passed on, including David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Chris Cornell, Tom Petty, Amy Winehouse, and more. In 2022, Wilson released her third solo album, Fierce Bliss. Ann Wilson continues to be considered as one of the greatest singers of all time, paving the way for new generations of female rock vocalists.
