Taylor Tomlinson on Tour

Taylor Tomlinson is on her way to Australia for her very first time! Taylor exploded onto the international stage when her hour-long special, “Quarter-Life Crisis,” debuted on Netflix just as the world entered into a once-in-a-century pandemic. The special went on to be named “Best of 2020” by New York Times, Decider, Paste and earned unanimous critical praise with the Washington Post calling her “your favourite quarantine-watch” and Newsweek declaring her “undeniably hilarious.”

As seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, CONAN, Comedy Central's Adam Devine's House Party, and Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup, as well as a top-ten finish in season 9 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

"whip-smart and spectacularly cynical" - Mashable

Hurry, this will sell out!

Taylor Tomlinson Background

Taylor Tomlinson is one of comedy's rising stars. Born in 1993 and raised in a religious family in Temecula, California, she first caught the humor bug after taking a stand-up class with her dad in a church basement. At 16, Tomlinson then started opening gigs headlined by the teacher of that class, a Christian comedian, at churches and other venues.

At that point, her approach to humor was decidedly clean-cut. However, Tomlinson quickly found her footing in the comedy world by performing at colleges while loosening up her repertoire to include things such as dating and relationships. Tomlinson herself left college at age 20 to do comedy full-time, which led to her career taking off: She finished in the Top 10 of Season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing and appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan, MTV's Safe Word, and Adam Devine's House Party.

She appeared on the stand-up-geared Fox show Laughs, where she moved from being a contestant to a guest host and the sole host for the third season. In 2018, she did a 15-minute set on Netflix's The Comedy Lineup and was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch that same year. In March 2020, Tomlinson's star rose even more, as she starred in her own hour-long Netflix special, Quarter-Life Crisis.

    Taylor the wonderful

by Keren on 11/5/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Taylor is clever and funny. She reaches out to a wide audience with a wide age range. We enjoyed her comedy and found her refreshing and relevant. The opener comedian however was too juvenile and crass and after a few moments I couldn’t wait for him to be finished. Taylor - you can have someone with a bit more class and to appeal to a wider audience

    Taylor is awesome

by Mudd on 11/5/23Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Taylor was awesome but her opening act was horrible. Most of the audience was silent during his show and we ended up walking out as his performance was so bad. A large group left the auditorium and waited until Taylor come on. When leaving, we heard many people on their cell or taking with their companions on how bad he was.

    It was just ok

by Drakone on 10/27/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Overall it was not a bad performance. Yet it felt more oriented towards younger people, single young people, people who deal with anxiety. As a regular person over 30 years I could not relate most of the time.

    Authentic & Hilarious

by John on 10/24/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I discovered Taylor on Netflix and quickly became a fan. This was my first time attending one of Taylor's shows, and did so with my daughter. We both had a fantastic time! Her show is tight, funny and without the overuse of mean-spirited comedy that a lot of comedians seem to rely on these days. I look forward to attending another performance soon. Well done, Taylor! You are one funny gal! :-) Ps. Happy Birthday! You share the same day with my Mom.

Loved the show. Hilarious and fun. The opener was awesome as well. We especially loved how Tomlinson is able to take answers from the audience and be hilarious on the fly. 100% worth it - had us laughing just thinking about it on the way home.

She brings down to earth problems to light in a hilarious way. She makes you want to laugh about the things that are normally sad. It’s like a thousand of us were all in her camp rooting her on for future success. Great show. Bring your sense of humor. She will do the rest 😂

    Taylor Tomlinson

by Donna Marie on 10/23/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was a great show. As someone who has hearing issues, I found it difficult to understand everything she was saying. I felt like sound was bouncing off the wall. I think the sound people could have toned it down a little. The screen behind Taylor kept freezing and also had a few second delay. Otherwise it was a great show and she is very funny.

    Hilarious!

by A. on 10/19/23Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was my first time seeing Taylor Tomlinson perform (live or otherwise). I personally had never heard of her prior to a friend discovering she would be at The Fox Theater and suggesting we go. I'm definitely glad we went, and have no idea how I'd never heard of her before, because she is absolutely hilarious! I love and support comedians in general. I have a great deal of respect for the amount of talent and degree of nerve I imagine is required to perform at that level. She clearly has an abundance of both... Aside from a few hiccups with the live-screen staged behind her, which she seemlessly incorporated into the show by very briefly joking about it in a casual way, the show was near perfect. Her opening act was really good as well. A bit more toned down in the energy she projected, but likely due to differences in personality and delivery style. I forget her name, but she was definitely entertaining as well. If I'm being honest, I'd say Tomlinson 100% made a new fan of me that night. I look forward to hearing about more developing in her career, and I look forward to seeing her perform live again if/when possible.
