    Start on time

by Paul on 5/1/24Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

This guy is not funny ,show started late then bragged about it. Didnt find myself laughing noticed most people were sympathetically laughing, was hoping for a better show than this left early. Nimesh Patel is way better & for the price. He makes you use a yonder bag for your phone, I get why most comedians use them I think the reason he uses them so you can't show how much he sucks.

    Loud Intro, Good Show

by Tony C on 4/30/24Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

The show overall was good. While it started 30 minutes late, and I understand there are unforeseen circumstances that can lead to it, the music played during the wait was unnecessarily loud. We felt like we were at a stadium rock concert. Both my wife and I are sensitive to loud noises and it became very uncomfortable very fast. If we knew, we would have brought hearing protection. The opening act was very funny. He was a great lead in to Hasan. Hasan was very good as well, bringing in insightful observations about family, culture, and society from an Asian perspective. This is his unique specialty. We saw Patriot Act on Netflix and The King’s Jester live and loved them because we felt like we learned something about him and his experiences that involved unfair treatment and discrimination. While I understand artists need to try new things, as he did in Off With His Head, I think the heart and empathy of those previous shows are his sweet spot.

    Humor should make us think

by Karin on 4/30/24Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

I thoroughly enjoyed the show! I really loved how Hasan brought back a local comic To enhance the experience. Both comics were not only funny but really pushed the envelope on inspiring us to see who we are !!

Better at scripted shows than stand-up

by Vinu on 4/30/24Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Delivery of jokes were very different than what I've seen on his Netflix specials, almost crass at times. I can see he wasn't as comfortable doing a live stand-up as he is in doing a scripted recorded show.

    Spectacular!

by Cynthia CU on 4/29/24The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

Best comedy show I’ve ever seen! I was front row center and everything was awesome! The opening act was a local comic who was Hasan’s LA roommate. This guy was hilarious! Then Hasan did a very long show that didn’t have any profanity, sexual stuff, or insults. It was refreshing to see a comedian talented enough to not resort to shock for laughs. His show was well crafted and relatable. I’VE NEVER LAUGHED SO MUCH OR SO HARD IN MY LIFE! He brought the whole audience into his act throughout the show too. It was a wonderfully long show that I would’ve stayed even longer for. He’s that good.

Hasan was great. The opening act, Rajiv Satyal, was even better!

Show was great venue was atrocious

by KP on 4/28/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Hasan was freaking great. Yondr was not ready for primetime. Lines to get in and out of the venue was unacceptable. Get your act together or get out.

    Delightful Conversation

by Morgan on 4/23/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Hasan is a fantastic comedian. The show felt like a conversation! He shaped it to our location, specifically, while also commenting on national and world issues. His personal notes created connection, and his humor kept us laughing start to finish.

    Missing the punch

by Conner on 4/22/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

For context, we saw the 2nd showing of the night that started way past when it was supposed to due to crowding issues at the entrance. Took way too long to get people in the venue. This show seemed like it was out of gas. Maybe because it was the second showing, or maybe because it was just how this experience was expected to go. Unlike his previous shows, there wasn’t a lot of structure to it. Callbacks had a harder time landing than normal, topics didn’t flow too well, and some of it leaned too awkwardly into the “late show means we get the weird people!” commentary. The show overall had plenty of stuff to laugh at, but it didn’t feel like a cohesive experience. Compared to his past shows, this one was really missing that one thread that ties everything together.
