The entire show was kicked ass. HOB venue was perfect. The music and people atmosphere is what heavy metal is all about.

  • Armored Saints? More like Armored Gods!

Behold! The Monolith opened the show, a Local Los Angeles band; cool stoner doom band. Not quite death metal; sweet, trudging riffs. Holy Grail came on after; they are reminiscent of many old school metal bands like Iron Maiden. Not to my liking personally. When The Saint came out it was non-stop metal. The audience couldn't get enough, it was pure calamity from there on out. John Bush was charismatic and incredible; for only doing one show, they packed six months worth of power into it. The entire band rocked it to perfection; never missed a lick. Worth the 6 hour drive to see em and I'll do it again, too!

  • ARMORED SAINT DESTROYS HOUSE OF BLUES AGAIN

by MatthiasSilver on 6/1/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show. Worth every effort it took to get there. Moshing and the crowd surfing was annoying, but it's a METAL CONCERT, right?? Enjoyed the hell out of the band. They are the most underrated group of musicians in the world!! It was my third time seeing AS play, and the 2nd time at the HOB. The sound system is EXCELLENT and will mess your ears up real good! I can't remember every song from the set. but I listed those I could recall. John Bush is one of the BEST front-men in all of rock. A class act all the way. Talented, and believably humble. He and the rest of the band made my year. Excellent show. Thank you very much to John, Phil, Joey, Gonzo & Jeff for coming back to LA!!!

  • Armored Saint Ripped it up!!!

by Waxie on 6/1/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Armored Saint is amazing I can't believe this band has not become as famous as Led Zepplin (really). Once again from the guitar to the bass to the singer this band is so tight that it is amazing they are not known world wide. I guess that is great for me because I get to see them up close and personal. Gentlemen thanks once again for blowing the roof off of the place. From the guy who makes faces at you when you sing. Please play more shows PLEASE!!!!

Wow...saw Armored Saint last night at HoB Sunset and it was an incredible show. They sounded fantastic and really put on a show. John Bush's voice was incredible and he was truly electrifying while still wearing a kind smile inbetween songs. They were a fantastic band to see live.

  • Armored Saint Nailed It!

Armored Saint sounded at least as good as ever, maybe even better. John Bush's vocals were absolutely spot-on and flawless.

  • Saint Marches on

UNBELEIVABLE!! Armored Saint quietly marched into Hollywood and tore up the House of Blues last night. Their new music is just as unbeleivable as their past. The atmoshere was electric as soon as the band hit the stage . The intimate settng was perfect for this one and only show. The crowd was pumped from the first chored. If you attended this show without knowing who Armored Saint was you became an instant fan. You can't help but, love these guys with their solid, no nonsence, no gimics, just good plane hard/metal rock n roll. There simply just isn't very many bands like Armored Saint. By the looks of John Bush and the boys they felt the energy bouncing off the crowd and it showed in their performance. God Bless them. Personally this show was what I like to call a much needed release which I left in the pit of the house of blues... Good job Armored Saint! MARCH ON!!!
