New seats are nice but space is very limited. You have to be a dinosaur if you plan on using the drink holders. They are way too far back in the seat and your neighbor better not move or else your drink will spill.
I don't care if you are a hockey fan or not. You have to see one of these games. This was my 1st college hockey game and my worry was it wouldn't be near what I have seen in the NHL. They proved me wrong. These guys are talented as all get out and play harder than most Pros do. The sweet thing is you can afford to sit right down on the glass at these games and if you have never been down on the glass you have no idea what you're missing. Even our 2 year old girl is in love with it. Now every time were watching hockey she just runs around chanting Hockey! Hockey! Hockey! We took all 3 of our children expecting to have to leave early and that was hardly the case. We all loved it and will be back!
The seats were great, right behind the bench, center ice. Unfortunately, the team blocked most of the ice so we ended up moving up a couple of rows. Next time we'll get seats on the end my the goal, on the glass.
great game.... down to the last second (Literally) !!! Unfortunate loss for the Wildcats with 1 second left on the clock.
The IceCats played hard The ASU fans were rude TCC is showing its age The Wildcat Fans made the event fun
Game was a blast, had front row seating :) Wild cats kicked but!
I would definitely recommend to go see the wildcats play. The scores was 9 - 0. They played awesome.
I've been going to hockey games, on and off, since the late 1950's, and am a Chicago Blacjk Hawk fan. My wife and I watch two periods of the game last Jannuary 9. It was focused and interesting University play. We left after two periods because the interior temperature was the coldest I can ever remember for an indoor Hockey game. There were few fans in attendance, indicating little effort of U of A athletic program to promote Hockey though I'd prefer it to all other university sports. It seems strange that TCC was without any heat, and even in sweaters and jeans it was very cold. I never remember anything like this is decades of Black Hawk hockey. Of course, the stands had large numbers, sometimes fully booked.Attendance was pitiful last Thursday.
had a good time, easy pick for the tickets and parking
Game was very entertaining. The team needs to be promoted more on TV and radio to increase crowd size.
I was really disappointed in the University of Arizona student body for booing the ASU players as well as yelling "YOU SUCK!" at them. I am a U of A student and I feel embarrassed for our school and the students' lack of maturity and sportsmanship. It is one thing to have "pride" in the school, but it is a completely different thing to be unsportsmanlike.
First game my 11 year old son attended. We had a great time and are considering season tickets next year. Great father son time.
The game was awesome itself, however I wish profanity was not the only grounds for a person to be removed or relocated at the game. There were a group of guys who were very obviously intoxicated and extremely rowdy. I'm all for supporting your team, but they went above and beyond the line. They were told on three separate occasions to stop doing something or another by security, yet they were not ever told to move, especially when where they were doing all of this, was not their actual seats. Their behavior caused two separate families to leave and I wish this was something security took more seriously because we all paid for our tickets, just like these guys did.
Great game and Great seats!! Doing it again on the 8th of December.
First time attending since moving to Tucson from NE. I enjoyed good hockey, a nice venue and thought the base ticket price and facility charge were reasonable. What really starts to detract from the value of the whole experience includes a $4 convenience charge per ticket, 8 dollar parking fee, $8 for a beer, $5 for an order of nachos and $4 for a soft drink (none served in a quantity that would justify the steep price). I was looking forward to attending home games on a more regular basis, possibly even become a season ticket holder for my local team. The add-on charges make the cost prohibitive, however, and really makes it feasible to attend the occasional game or two.
Wildcats did NOT bring it. Very sad game. I have to hand it to ASU, even though I am not a fan. They were the only reason the game was worth watching.
We parked at the TCC for 8 bucks and walked over to El Minuto for a great Mexican dinner at 6PM. Got back to the arena for the 7:30 game with plenty of time to spare. Great entertainment and fun for the whole family. Had tickets in section 204, row AA. Had a rail right in the field of view but we were able to move up a row after the game started. Beer and wine are on the expensive side at $8 for 16 oz domestic beer and the same price for a small cup of so-so wine.
My brother and I have been going to Icecats games for over 12 years and we love it. This year was the first time that we have ever been approached by security at the convention center and told we had to leave just seconds after the game had ended. There were a lot of people at the game and we were only waiting around to let some of them clear out before we tried to make our way out. The security guard was rude and treated us like we were commiting some kind of crime. This is not going to stop me from attending games in the future, I think that security guard just needs to calm down a little bit.
Great Game just wish the cats won, great great game can't wait to go again
