Arijit Singh on Tour
Audiences have loved Arijit Singh's soulful voice even before they knew his name. Now that Singh has gone from being a skilled playback performer in the Bollywood film world to a star in his own right, there's no overlooking the remarkable talent of the most streamed musical artist in India.
In the six years since the former contestant on Fame Gurukul experienced his breakthrough with "Tum Hi Ho" from Aashiqui 2 (a No. 1 hit on MTV India for seven weeks, Singh has worked with the biggest talents in India and won more than 50 major awards.
Singh's 12-city tour, the largest such tour for any Indian artist in North America, marks another extraordinary achievement for the 31-year-old singer and musician. Singh leads a group of more than 50 musicians from 12 different countries. Performances include such recent hits as "Binte Dil" and "Subah Subah" along with many more of the songs that have racked up hundreds of millions of streams and views and made Singh one of India's most popular musical artists.
Arijit Singh Background
Born in 1987 in West Bengal, Arijit Singh was raised in a Punjabi/Bengali family that encouraged the boy's burgeoning musical interests. His early studies in tabla and Indian classical music led to him winning a scholarship to study singing at the age of 9. While still a teenager, he first made an impression to wider audiences as a contestant on the reality show Fame Gurukul.
That also brought him to the attention of music programmers, producers, and composers in India's film and music industries. They helped Singh develop his skills as a programmer and producer himself, and then as an increasingly in-demand playback performer for some of Bollywood's biggest films and stars.
Singh's performance of "Tum Hi Ho" in Aashiqui 2 in 2013 led to a string of hits and awards. In his collaborations with such musical powerhouses as Sajid-Wajid, A.R. Rahman, and Salim-Sulaiman, Singh has wowed listeners with his rich baritone and remarkable versatility on songs that range in style from dance songs to romantic duets.
After his initial success with songs in Hindi and Bengali, he has performed in many more languages. With songs attracting hundreds of millions of views and streams on YouTube and other platforms, Singh has become India's most streamed musical artist.
I made a poster for him, he interacted with me and my bf because of our craziness and sang with us. The sponsors liked us and we got uploaded to the front row for free!!! What more could you ask you say? We even got backstage passes by the sponsors and he signed my poster!!!! I really admire Arijit Singh, both as a singer and as a person

The evening was magical. Arijit’s voice did magic like always along with the band. This event was nothing short of spectacular. Loved the whole ambience. The crowd spoke itself. I will be cherishing this memory for many more years to come. Can’t wait until the next time.

Arijit Singh and the whole band had created amazing experience. Arijit Singh sang for 3 hours non-stop. He engaged with the crowd, posing for selfies and he kept thanking crowd. The sound system, laser tech, stage setup and his presence was just out of this world! If you get a chance go and watch the show. It will be an unforgettable night!

This is easily one of the best concerts I have attended. The intensity was sensational, the singing was mind blowing and the way Arijit interacted with crowd and kept them involved was amazing. 10/10 will go again if given chance
Arijit Singh's performance checked all the boxes and more! As a big fan of the artist, this is the second time that I am watching him at the same venue and this time it is definitely bigger with more visual effects and accompanying musicians. However, the volume was too loud. It was ok in the beginning, but as the evening moved on, my ears started hurting and I repented not having gotten noise-canceling headphones for my child who was also a big fan. The songs that we enjoyed most were the ones with less music where we could hear him better. Also, the traffic - there should be effective traffic control for a performance like this. It took us one hour to move less than 0.2 miles and park in the garage - the counter in the garage was a BIG bottleneck. Hope that will be looked into for future performance.
Excellent, over 3 hours of pure positive energy. I only speak English, so don’t really know what the lyrics where all about, but it didn’t matter, I could feel all the good vibes. Completely uplifting show.
We attended the concert with my 2 daughters 8and 10year old. Our 8yr old is a big Arijit Singh fan and we absolutely had an amazing time at the concert once it started. We were able to enjoy some cold beer and sour patch candies during the concert. The concert was supposed to begin at 7pm and end at 10pm, First bummer was when we arrived to get to entrance at the gate people were still standing outside in the line for atleast an hour with children and families until 8pm and the concert didnt start until 8:30pm. During the concert I believe the orchestra could have been a little softer sounding. My 10 year old was very much uncomfortable with the loud sounds of the concert. The singer sang beautifully but the intruments were way too loud and the concert would have sounded better. Hope the organisers can do a better job next time. But overall, great concert. It was worth it!!
