About

Ari Shaffir is an American standup comedian. In addition to his numerous appearances on the Joe Rogan podcast, he is best known for his last special, "Jew," which has garnered almost 6 million views and was written up in The NY Times in its list of best specials of the year. You might also know Ari from the storytelling show he created and hosted on Comedy Central called "This Is Not Happening." Ari also has a Netflix special called "Double Negative" and a Comedy Central special called "Paid Regular." Ari Shaffir has also appeared on WTF with Marc Maron, The Adam Carolla show, Your Mom's House, 2 Bears 1 Cave, Theo Von's podcast, Andrew Schulz's podcast, TigerBelly, and many many more. These appearances have made him a favorite in the comedy podcast world. His own podcast, Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank is a chart topper that comes out every week wherever you watch or listen to podcasts. Ari is the reigning president of the LOS podcast to which he has no affiliation. And he placed first in the non-steroid category of the legendary Sober October challenge, which he also destroyed shortly thereafter so he could found Protect Our Parks with Shane Gillis and Mark Normand which he fooled Joe Rogan into hosting.

The deal is, this is a dirty show. It's not completely offensive but definitely some parts are offensive. So don't bring that one friend in your friend group who makes that tsk noise a lot. Just tell them you're doing something else or your grandmother died or your grandmother killed somebody and you gotta be a character witness. Whatever. Just don't bring them. But everybody else for sure come. Ari puts on a hilarious show every year of all new material and he brings amazing openers. So it's just a really funny night of legit mainstream standup and you're going to have a great time every time.

    Where's the Merch?

by MaxHedRoom on 2/6/24Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Ari provided the experience I was hoping for. The fact that he resides in NY gives me hope for additional shows with him in the future. He mentioned that he was the least successful of all his friends. To that I ask Where's the merch?

Too much conversation in the crowd!

by The BallZ on 2/5/24The Wilbur - Boston

There were two men in ROW I and they were talking loudly the entire time. I think they took the woman’s food in front of them too!

    Absolutely hysterical

by Corey on 2/4/24The Wilbur - Boston

As usual, Ari Shaffir (or Aaron Schaeffer, as he's going to change his name to when he runs for president) is a laugh riot. I just about thought I was going to hurt myself laughing through nearly the entire set.

    Good

by Stinky McLaughing on 1/21/24Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

Good show. Not his best, but good. Classically offensive Ari. He has a habit of having good openers and middle, which he did at this show. 4 stars. I'll see him again.

by Bre on 1/15/24Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Laughs all night long. Ari’s stand up is hilarious and it was great to see him perform live. Good to be on the wrong side of history, make sure you see him when he’s in your town.

    Exceeded expectations in every way

by Britt Fitz on 1/14/24Balboa Theatre - San Diego

This was my first live comedy show ever. Ari nailed it! He had me laugh crying along with everyone around me. You'll definitely be on the wrong side of history if you miss this tour! 100% would see Ari live again! Thanks for the laughs and the great time. Venue was beautiful, refreshments were a little expensive, got sticker shock when a jack and coke was $28. Overall everything was awesome!!!!!!!

    Great show!

by Shorty on 11/16/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Great show, the place was gorgeous lots of seating space, not cramped feeling like other venues I've been to. - Some may find it offensive, if your sensitive don't go! Ari's sense of humor isn't for everyone, but if you are able to take jokes with some dark humor behind them you will definitely enjoy his show!

A Good Time But Not Great

by Zak on 11/15/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Ari was okay but as we were waking out there were a lot of people talking about the opening acts. More than once there weren’t a lot of laughs and he would say something along the lines of “no? Okay” then move on to the next bit.

    The return of the jew

by SerbianSausage on 11/15/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Honestly, I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but it was a masterful performance extremely funny, and most of his headliners were fun as well.

    Amazing Show

by Comedyguy on 11/12/23Uptown Theater - Kansas City

Worth every single penny! The openers were awesome. Ari seemed to be working out pieces of a new set, but that didn’t stop him from putting on a fantastic show. He gave an hour+ set of great laughs and good times!

    Good times

by Jack welsch on 11/9/23Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I brought my dad out to see the show in Minneapolis and we stopped and ate at a nice restaurant in downtown. We had no problems getting in and getting to our seats and when the show started it’s was all laughs. I have never seen my dad laugh so hard in my life. The tickets were fairly cheap and still pretty close to the stage. It was an all around great experience and I will definitely be going back next time around.
