    Pleasant Surprise!

by WillyK on 4/18/15Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Anything Goes was definitely more than we expected from the singers and dancers. They were one of the most talented group we've seen in a show like this. It was a first class presentation! The dialogue was a bit dated, but that is a fact of this oldie but goodie.

    Weak story, good dance routines

by GeorgeAllen on 4/18/15Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Very slow story line. Couldn't hear much of the talking. But had a couple of great dance routines.

    Very entertaining show

by Anonymous on 3/11/15Tilles Center Concert Hall - Brookville

My mother and her friend enjoyed the show very much, the songs were great and the dance numbers were entertaining. This is a good substitute for Broadway, because it is easier on seniors to travel to the Tillis Center. My only criticism is that my mother mentioned the lack of rails on the steps.

    Cole Porter kept alive !

by ZZTOMz on 2/17/15Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

I love Cole Porter's music. When I saw it being put to a musical, I just had to go. Don't know if this particular musical (Anything Goes) was an original script.???? Enjoyed the show, the music, the costumes and the dancing - especially the tap dancing. Tap dancing is a dying art form I think and it was wonderful to see it done so well.

We enjoyed very much thid show. Lots of music and dancing. So much talent there. Would like to see more of this in Columbus. Reminded me of the wonderful musicals of Rogers and Hamerstins.

    Exhilirating

by Anonymous on 2/11/15Ohio Theatre - Columbus

Haven't been to a play for quite some time. This was the perfect choice! The theatre was beautiful, the story was fun, the dancing & singing outstanding. The entire experience was uplifting & just what I needed for the winter doldrums. This has gotten me back in the swing for real entertainment.

    Anything Goes

by Gerszewski on 2/11/15Ohio Theatre - Columbus

Professional performance by the cast especially the production numbers. The orchestra's interpretation and presentation of the score was thrilling and perfectly in sync with the the action on stage. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Outstanding musical. The number to close the first act was worth the price.

Anything Goes is a hit - venue limits enjoyment

by Anonymous on 2/10/15Ohio Theatre - Columbus

The performance of Anything Goes was good. The cast executed well, except for several ill timed lines. The squeakiness of the stage was a big distraction. Also, the acoustics were horrible. It sounded like the performance was in "mono" since we had a huge speaker stack blasting directly at us the whole time. There was no range to the volume of the performance - it was constantly pegged at too loud.

    Very Cute...

by IvywoodMom on 2/10/15Ohio Theatre - Columbus

I had never been to the Ohio Theatre before, nor had I seen any production of Anything Goes before. It was adorable and so scandalous for something written in the 1930's!

    Old tired play

    by Blouise23 on 2/9/15Ohio Theatre - Columbus

The sets were cheap.. Lighting not good .. It came of as a High school play.. Actors were ok but play was boring.
