Incredible performance! Traditional opera, if youre looking for a rock opera this isnt it. Similar story line to The Wall film and truly amazing vocals.
The opening sequence is confusing given that I didn't know if there was a story I should have known about in advance. There is no rocking in this opera at all. And it seems confusing why some things happen and I see some actors not very clear and their role like when they're moving slow or when they should be standing still and they're fidgeting I think sometimes the actors don't even know what they're supposed to be doing for instance when they bring the gurney out. Lots and lots of empty seats on the Sunday matinee. I think if there had been a tiny beginning piece to set the scene, it might have made a difference. Also, the sound. Not really great. For some reason there wasn't enough low end. Very artificial EQ in the room. Not a natural sound.
