    You CAN go home again!

by MallardBuckley on 9/2/13Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

The performances were all quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised, I love the Greek theater. The one downside to this venue is the price for drinks! $12.00 for a beer is outrageous!

    Andy Bell was INCREDIBLE!!

by MusicSlutSanDiego on 9/1/13Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

Wow....having seen Thousands of concerts in my life, I love it when something totally blows me away!!! I loved the old Erasure music, but did not know much about Andy Bell before the show. What a performance!!! Loved his gay goddess flamboyance, and the "Fembot" dancers were beautiful. His voice and stage presence was wonderful. It was an audio/visual extravaganza that is still playing in my dreams! Thank you Andy for a tremendous show...please tour again soon for us!!! :)

Mai tai's, sunset, New Wave music, and friends.

by Anonymous on 8/31/13Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

Thanks for the trip in the time machine. Great music. Great location. Great drinks. Beautiful sunset. Some venue items - Seating - Rows were too close together - could barely get past people, let alone stand up and dance with my group. A lot of empty seats, so back 4 rows could've been eliminated to make space between seats. Time - If start time could've been 30 minutes later, it would've it less harried to make it to location on a workday, but noise regs prevented that. The bar - drinks were great and they kept them coming! The acts - Disappointed at first that Human League wasn't playing, but not a problem. Men Without Hats more than just filled-in, they made me forget about the Human League. :-P Howard Jones - I forgot he churned out that much music. Remixed "hard-style" last song was refreshing, surprising and a sound I wish he played a little more of. You don't need to be under 30 to make good music. Andy Bell of Erasure - The walking Vegas show in high heels. As flamboyantly entertaining as I remember. Had me singing outloud lyrics to songs I thought long-forgotten. GUILTY!

Andy Bell was excellent. Regrettably, the performance was way too short.

    Erasue and Howard Jones

by aliwu on 8/25/13The Paramount - Huntington

It was a great concert. Seating is very good. The sound system is good, but as Usual(like most venues) the bass is so high it is distorted. Also if your up in the seats The video screens can't be fully seen. All in all not bad. The bands were fantastic.

    Howard Jones -- AWESOME!!!!

by AmarisR on 8/24/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New York

Howard Jones is a fantastic performer who really makes an effort to connect with his audience! His music has always been positive and inspirational, and it was quite nice to see that many people felt comfortable enough to bring their children to his performance. I only wish he could have performed longer . ..one hour was definitely not enough time to showcase all of his talent! HoJo, please come back soon!

Andy Bell and Howard Jones KILLED IT!!!

    by 80smusicqueen on 8/24/13The Paramount - Huntington

Absolutely unforgettable nostalgic performance by two favorites from back in the day. Howard Jones was energetic and sounded exactly like we remembered. Andy Bell has the most amazing voice we have ever had the pleasure of hearing live. If they come around again I will be first in line for tickets.

    Canned Erasure

by Frsk on 8/24/13The Paramount - Huntington

Howard Jones opening was about 3 songs too long. He did not engage the crowd until perhaps the last song, but the crowd loved him anyway. Andy Bell was terrific. While his voice has aged, haven't we all, it was still in great shape. It was sad that all the music was canned, some of the songs seemed lackluster. Hopefully Vince will come back and the music will be better.
