About

Andrew Schulz, a New York-native, is known for his hilarious and unfiltered comedy. Schulz's recent success selling out two Madison Square Gardens, the Kia Forum, as well as two ScotiaBank Arenas in Toronto, follows a sold out tour in Europe and Australia.  He's now bringing The Life Tour across North America.

Schulz's stand up and podcast content receives 30 million weekly views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

After rejecting creative notes on his last special by the streamer, Schulz purchased the project back himself and distributed it through his own website and subsequently put it up on YouTube. 18 million views later, INFAMOUS is the most viewed comedy special on YouTube.

Schulz's strategy of releasing his specials on YouTube and clips of his stand-up across social media platforms has become the new standard for comedians around the world. He wrapped up a wild 2020 creating and starring in Netflix's "Schulz Saves America," taking on the year's most divisive topics in a fearlessly raw and irreverent four-part special.  The special was inspired by his weekly 'Turn Your Phone' rants, which exploded during the pandemic.

In the podcast sphere, Schulz's wildly popular show, Flagrant, is viewed by 4 million devout fans per week, having recently reached 1 billion total views on YouTube. He also co-hosts Brilliant Idiots with legendary radio & television personality, Charlamagne tha God.

Recent projects with Schulz as an actor include the remake of the classic streetball comedy White Men Can't Jump, which has him sharing the screen with Jack Harlow. He also appeared in Netflix's comedy, You People, toplined by Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Schulz can also be seen alongside Snoop Dogg in the MGM football comedy, Underdoggs, as well as an upcoming period drama titled, The Thicket, starring Peter Dinklage.

Nothing is off limits for Schulz, from culture to race to politics.  His audiences are some of the most diverse among any working comedian, with fans vying to sit in the front rows of his shows to experience his merciless and masterful crowd work.  There's only one rule at his shows--everyone gets these jokes.

Most fun I've had in a long time!

by Pink Tsubasa on 11/20/19The Wilbur - Boston

The whole thing was awesome! Getting there and getting in was quick and easy. The atmosphere was really nice; The Wilbur has a nice feel to it! The show was the best thing ever! I was so excited to go see Andrew, but that's not to say that the opening acts weren't awesome, I enjoyed every single minute. I can now say from first-hand experience, you can't go wrong with Andrew Schulz!

    Best show in a while

by Sactowntodd on 11/6/19Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - Sacramento

I’ve seen Joe Rogan, Tosh, (both excellent) and Theo Von (Disappointing) lately and Andrew’s three man team were the best in my opinion. Maybe it’s the smaller room I like best? The others were at the Crest and Sac Community theater ... anyhow, I always have a great time at punchline and love that big names and up and comers perform there. Andrew is so talented!

    Fun show!

    by L. T. on 11/5/19Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - Sacramento

All these comics made for a very fun show. They aren't afraid to roast audience members and they don't shy away from dark humor, so leave your sensitivity at the door!

    Flagrant, Funny, Very Diverse Audience

by DSOG Thomas on 6/12/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Andrews latest tour isn't named the matador by chance. He flirts with danger on every topic, going just far enough to feel the breath of the bull as it shoots by, but never far enough as to get the horns. Andrew is that dude who you know is on the right side of things, but can still laugh at ALL sides of the spectrum. His audiences are always very diverse and he knows how to make each person laugh equally. If you don't get his comedy, you are probably just bad at life. Great to see him at Cobb's, they are on point with service and their food is all well above your expectations. Cheers.

    Amazing Show! EVERY TIME!

by DJ on 6/12/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

We’ve seen him 3 times now and every show has been amazing. Loved the first opener (he’s opened for him every time) but the two guys in the middle were interesting.... to say the least. The only complaint is Andrew’s set was only 45 mins— cut one of those openers and give us a full hour. Pleeeeease.

    Bought tickets for my boyfriend

by Vneckkk on 10/3/18Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - Sacramento

My bf watches his podcasts and is constantly cackling, so I’m like ok he must love this dude- I’m going to surprise him. He’s shown me some clips of him and I didn’t think much, honestly I was like wow this is some straight dude shit like only guys laugh at this shit. But I went and I was laughing all night. I would watch him anytime he’s out around our way again forsure. I was a little nervous at first cause I thought it would be too much for me, but no- he appeals to everyone in the crowd. I shouldn’t have judged his podcast as some “man shit” lol. MY BAD. Anyway GO SEE HIM if you’re trying to laugh your ass off all night and watch him scold some hecklers. He puts them in their place, its beautiful.

Andrew Schulz aka King Hezzy AMAZING!!!

by EJ916 on 5/15/18Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

This was an amazing show, from the host to the headliner. It was my second time seeing King Hezzy, but it was my first time at SF Punchline, although I did not like how close the tables and seating were, I was still able to enjoy myself. I will definitely attend more events and support live comedy shows at this venue. Also, the staff was pleasant and extremely helpful.

    Bros only

by MissyBX on 5/14/18Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Unless you feel like suffering through an hour of misogyny and bad jokes, skip Andrew Schulz. I was a fan of his podcast and other endeavors until seeing his live standup. Cheap jokes, unoriginal in content and all based off racial or sex/gender differences. Sounds to me like some woman broke his heart and he cant get over it. I am by no means sensitive and unable to take a joke, and was patiently waiting for him to say something actually witty or funny but the show ended before Andrew attempted a joke that wasn't chauvinist in nature.

GREATEST STANDUP COMEDY I'VE EVER SEEN

by nickvmilan on 5/10/17Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

I consider myself a pretty big fan of standup comedy, and I try to catch as many live shows as I can. I actually hadn't heard of Andrew Schulz, but a friend recommended him so I checked him out when he came to Cobb's in SF. Now everything has a changed; the bar has been raised. He was hands-down the funniest comedian I've ever seen. He absolutely killed from his opening line to the closing. I had tears at one point and my nose was runny from laughing so damn hard.
