    Andrea Gibson was incredible

by Shaye84 on 5/5/18Port City Music Hall - Portland

This performance did not disappoint. Their collection of poems and music left me both laughing and crying. It was very emotional and beautiful. To be surrounded by family was so comforting...

    Andrea is beyond words!

by MonaPoet on 3/6/18State Theatre - St Petersburg

This show was beyond my expectations! My first time seeing her live. Chastity Brown was a wonderful addition to the show. I will definitely see her again if she passes through this way in the future. I wasn't thrilled with the venue (State Theatre), as standing for 3 1/2 hours can be a bit much. Regardless, it was worth it to see Andrea and Chastity!

    Amazing

Chasity Brown is amazing. I can't believe I just now heard about her! And of course, Andrea never fails to leave her audience wanting more.

    Food for the soul

by TyneP on 2/2/18Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Andrea Gibson is one of the most relevant and underrated performers of their time. This performance was both enriching and soul crushing with the current political backdrop. Nothing fed my heart more than sharing a safe queer space with those I love while Gibson reminded us of our love and loss.

    Amazing show

by Tina467 on 1/25/18Gramercy Theatre - New York

Andrea Gibson's show was amazing. The venue was great. It was nice and a decent size. Still felt intimate. She performed most of the poems off Hey Galaxy and she did perform some older poems like Prism and The Nutritionist. I would definitely go see her again and I would definitely go back to this venue.

    Wonderful event!

by FangirlApril14 on 1/23/18Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Gibson was a stellar performer and totally blew me away. I cannot recommend seeing them enough. If you like spoken word poetry, this is the performer for you. Andrea is the best performer I've ever seen and I will definitely see them again. The venue was okay but there was extremely little seating, making it a little difficult if you wanted or needed to sit down. The drinks were good and the bartenders were nice and attentive.

by Allie033 on 1/22/18Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Andrea Gibson is such an amazing performer! I have been to multiple shows of hers so far and every time she just takes the show with her emotion and rawness. I'll be seeing her again soon!

    An emotional and riveting experience

by Ozium on 1/22/18Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I went to see Andrea Gibson at the Brighton Music Hall. As always Andrea took my breath away. Their poetry is so good it makes me feel like maybe I have just been pretending to be fluent in English. I was sobbing in the back of the room because some of the poems hit me so hard and it was beautiful and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The room was basically just a big open space so everyone just stood anywhere they wanted. This seems like what tends to happens at concert venues but it is unfortunate for people like me with anxiety because I don't like people touching me. I had to stand near the back and even then I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a way to avoid people who were walking by. Even so, I could hear everything crystal clear and see as much as necessary for a poetry reading. There was a bar at which I was able to purchase soda and there was water available for free. There were also alcoholic beverages but I don't drink so that doesn't matter to me.

An amazing environment to be part of!!

by ReyesAsh on 10/21/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Listening to Sarah Kay and Andrea Gibson was something unimaginable. It was magical, and they engaged extravagantly with the audience. It's like we were all friends and not strangers. There was pure connection within the poetry and the audience. We all were one in each performance.

    Beyond words (amazing)

by MandaHuzzah on 10/15/15The Local 662 - St Petersburg

It was my honor to see Andrea Gibson preform for the second time this night. As always she didn't disappoint. The raw emotions, and energy she preforms with were awesome.. Also, her opening act, (forgive me for forgetting her name), was an amazing musician. I was packed into a small venue, but the venue was great the feels I got seeing all the old album art work was amazing as well. This was an amazing show and glad I was able to get there and take it all in!

    Feeds your soul!

by SoulfulRose on 4/21/15Sixth & I Historic Synagogue - Washington

Andrea is amazing! If you get an opportunity to see her live, you should do it! Would love to follow her around on tour and listen to her talk. How is it possible for someone who feels so much to be so eloquent and funny at the same time?! Such talent. So grateful I was able to attend the event.

It was really nice, except the fact that it is a poetry reading show, and to stand the whole time was difficult.

    AG Rocked!

by MsKarateChick on 1/27/14Masquerade - Atlanta

Unforgettable and moving as expected. Would recommend. Freezing the day though and lots of standing around. The venue had us standing around for an hour and a half though.
