However, I must say that the orchestra was wonderful! We were looking forward to more laughs and more impressive dances.

by Danaww on 8/13/13City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimI feel like AIDF is the best-kept secret in the dance world; consistently, every year that I have attended, I have come away marveling at the incredible talent and performances on display, and grateful that we have the privilege of seeing this amazing production. The dancers are inspiring--the top dancers in the world come to this event! The short video clips that Evan puts together to introduce them are pure genius; they allow us to see and hear their humanity before witnessing the astonishing artistry of their performances. This year, Three Preludes, choreographed by Ben Stevenson, and danced by two of his beautiful dancers, was stunning. I watched with tears in my eyes. Beautiful beyond description. I am already looking forward to AIDF 2014.
