Whitney Houston was a true legend.
Her rich, powerful voice is adored by millions and has spawned an entire industry of gospel-influenced pop singing. She's won six Grammys and two Emmys, sold more than 20 million records worldwide, and ranks as one of the best-selling music artists in history.
Houston's career began with a modest upbringing in Newark, New Jersey. In 1981, she became the lead singer for a group called The New Edition, which was known for its popular radio hits. She soon went on to pursue a solo career and released her debut album in 1985. Over the next 30 years she would have several more No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts, including "How Will I Know," "Saving All My Love for You," and, of course, her version of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You."
It would be hard to overstate the impact Houston had on the music industry throughout her career. She set records that still stand today. She holds the record as the only artist to have seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits. She has seven consecutive multi-platinum albums -- six studio albums and a soundtrack album, all released within a 10-year period. And, she was the first artist to have seven consecutive No. 1 hits and the first female artist to enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. Whitney became known as The Voice for good reason: her vocal range made her a powerhouse even among powerhouses.
She also starred in a number of blockbuster movies, including The Bodyguard (for which she also recorded the theme song), Waiting to Exhale, The Preacher's Wife (for which she won two NAACP Image Awards), and more.
Houston's life and career have come to represent the best of a generation. Her voice, her songs and her stage presence have inspired millions around the world. Although we lost her in 2012, the magic of her presence lives on in her music.
Now, that magic is coming to a stage near you with An Evening With Whitney Houston: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert. This immersive experience combines cutting-edge digital technology with incredible light displays and 3D sound design to create an unparalleled experience. Houston's hologram is superimposed over live dancers to give you the sensation that you're actually there with her as she performs some of her most famous songs.
This performance is a unique opportunity to celebrate one of the most iconic artists in music history. Audiences can expect an extraordinary evening that delivers all the thrilling vocals and emotions for which Whitney Houston was renowned.

Even though i didnt realize i purchased tickets for our group the wrong night until the night of what i thought was the correct night everyone enjoyed the show. I couldve enjoyed it more if i didnt have to fork out another 500 for us.overall everyone was amazing at the performance and felt like you were in a real concert
The live dancers upstaged Whitney. A mid-show solo routine felt like a clumsy, random inclusion. The live band was too loud, overpowering the audio recording. The halogram had an incredibly limited range of motion. Overall production quality was subpar, especially for the value based on ticket cost. Left with the impression that the show is but an opportunity to financially capitalize on the tragedy of a singing legend.
(Based on 11/20/21 showing) I just want to say that I love Whitney Houston and her music, so I was very excited to come to this show. To be honest, this show needs some fine-tuning. First of all, the hologram’s face didn’t look too much like her until towards the end of the show— perhaps until we got used to her face. Of course, we were basically watching an impersonator, however I feel like they could’ve deepfaked the hologram as there is enough technology (and enough clear video clips and photos of Whitney) to do so. The movements also weren’t too much like Whitney’s, with the lip syncing off at times. The impersonator’s microphone placement was off as well, with her holding the microphone toward her navel. Being in the front row, the stage lights were too bright so we could see through her. Yes, it’s a hologram, but the colors could’ve been richer with slightly dimmer lighting. Despite seating, the stage should look great from all angles. Second, one of the dancers needs to be a little more enthusiastic. The dance routines were great and for the most part so was the dancing (despite the few moments of being out of sync). However, one of the (male) dancers didn’t have that “umph” factor and, in fact, didn’t look like he wanted to be there. I’m not sure if he was chewing gum, but from my seat it appeared that way. Not sure though, so don’t quote me on that. Third, at one point, the band was laughing and it caused some confusion around me for those who noticed. It was obvious that they were trying to conceal their laughter. I get that things happen (trust me, I’ve performed before and certainly goofs happen), but the best thing to do in those moments is to maintain composure in some other way than just covering your mouth. Despite these faults, I enjoyed the music and it was great to see the audience reactions. People were dancing, crying, and singing along to the music. It was great to experience with others.
Better than I could even imagine. So we’ll done…I felt she was really there. Don’t miss this show!
Overall an entertaining evening. Whitney’s image was blurry giving a ghostly impression. Music of course was excellent.
This show was perfect. Excellent. Thank you Pat Houston and Base Hologram! I plan to see it a couple more times. (from NC)
I surprised my parents with tickets and we all thoroughly loved it, the crowd was yelling for her to give us more like she was there. What a talented gift taken from us too soon.
Better than I could have imagined. I actually forgot she wasn't really there. The only down side is there was one back up dancer that didn't seem as excited as the others to be there. He kept drawing by eye which was a disappointment, but I highly recommend this show.
It was fantastic. I enjoyed the whole experience.
This was a first class phenomenal show! I flew from MD to Vegas for this and saw it twice while there. Whitney is indeed "The Voice."
Once I had got over the hologram (very odd seeing a deceased lady on stage) We had a thoughly enjoyable evening.
The showroom at Harrah’s was over half full for this 6pm show (an unusual time for an unusual show). It started exactly at 6pm with a very loud introduction from the Live band. The band was very loud the entire performance. The four live dancers were very good and energetic. The “star” appeared as a slightly hazy image on stage. It was great to hear Whitney’s songs “live” yet they weren’t. She moved fluidly across the stage in beautiful gowns. There were several costume changes (with her “changing” back and forth and not in sequence; she even “changed” right before your eyes for her finale). Whitney placed her microphone in a white stand that rose up from below stage. She held a large white handkerchief which moved when she moved. But you didn’t know whether or not to applaud at the end of each number (most people did). There’s no interaction with the singer but the band (which was very loud to the end) and the dancers were good. I never got to see Whitney live. This doesn’t count but it was a chance to relive the wonderful talent of Whitney Houston. The show was a nice time; different but nice.
The dancers are bad, they don’t believe what they are dancing at all ! And the pseudo « hologram » is not good technically speaking… The worst show in LV, really.
Much better than expected. The dancers were great and the band was awesome. Whitney looked so realistic. I highly recommend this show. Very pleasantly surprised.
If you love her music….you’ll enjoy this spectacular evening of The Voice! 💜💜💜
The team responsible for putting on the the concert did an awesome job and from start to finish I was completely blown away. The concert was absolutely amazing and I even cried a little.
I was expecting very little from This after reading reviews online. Boy was I wrong. My only suggestion is to sit straight on from the stage s as it could get a bit distorted If not. However can’t suggest this show much enough.
One of my biggest regrets in life is never seeing a live Whitney Houston concert. With attending An Evening With Whitney, I experienced the next best thing. An awesome, memorable show! Thank you for making a dream come true for me!
This show was Awesome and AMAZING!! The producers did an amazing job!! I could see this a million times!!! Definitely a Must See!
