    Pete very entertaining

by KYredsfan on 7/14/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Would recommend to any baseball fan, especially Reds fans, and for sure Pete Rose fans. This is the second time I have paid to hear him speak. He is full of interesting stories about baseball, the Reds, etc. Both were moderated, which kept the dialogue going. At one he took questions from the audience. I heard different things at each of the shows, so there was not much duplicated. It seems he was truly "humbled" by his past troubles, and talks about those also.

An Evening with Pete Rose was very unorganized!

    by Deniese01 on 7/14/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

    1) everyone should have been notified that there would be no autographs 2) everyone should have been notified that they were not allowed to bring baseballs 3) VIP ticket holders were told to show up at 6:00 pm for a meet & greet, however, it was 6:30 before we were even let into the lobby. 4) once in the lobby, security was very rude. 5) we were then escorted to what seemed to be the basement with many mismatched tables and chairs where they brought in Pete and placed him in front of a fabric dropcloth covering pop coolers (which the dropcloth did not completely cover) to meet him & take pictures. It was great to meet to meet Pete, but it was so unorganized that we did not stay to finish the show. to say the least, we were very, very, very disappointed!

A great event with a legend

    by MikeM1234 on 7/14/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Pete absolutely owns the stage. He talked non-stop the entire time telling old stories, new stories, jokes, and had the audience laughing, cheering, and generally having a great time. It's not often you get to sit and listen to one of the greatest living baseball players. Highly recommended for anyone who loves baseball, and Pete!

NOW THATS A TRUE BALL PLAYER

    by Sable456 on 7/14/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

It was very entertaining to see the greatest baseball player of all time just stand up there and shoot the breeze and talk about the game he loves.cincinnatians will always love Pete Rose. Bottom line is how does baseball keep out the greatest ball player of all time. It's been long enough, steroids drugs and beating spouses plagues so many sports. Let's forgive him and give him what as a player he deserves. Pete you are whether you want to hear it, YOU ARE THE GREATEST BASEBALL PLAYER OF MY GENERATION AND OF ALL BASEBALL. THERE IS ONLY 1 PETER EDWARD ROSE. THANKS FOR MEMORIES

    What a disappointment

by kentsteinme on 4/3/13U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

Instead of a evening with Pete Rose it should have been called a hour with Pete Rose. Pete was good when telling his stories. Whoever produced this show did a very poor job. This was a waste of money.

    Not worth the money

by RedsFan12 on 4/3/13U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

I was really excited about hearing baseball stories from Rose. In that expectation, he came through. However, he was on stage for less than an hour which isn't what I expected with the amount we had to pay for the tickets.

    Pete was very entertaining!

by 5694 on 4/3/13U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

The question is sometimes asked "if there is anybody living or dead you could have come to dinner - who would it be" I have never been able to answer that question - till now! Pete Rose is the answer. He was so entertaining, so interesting and I am sure could go on and on. He has been with the greats including Joe DiMaggio! Would love to have had an hour more. Left the Opening Day game with the Cincinnati Reds in the 12th inning so we would not miss a word. Well worth it.

    Better than expected

by Redsfan14 on 4/3/13U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

Pete was very good and entertaining. The meet and greet was lame basically just a picture with no interaction . The second guy on the stage was a waste of space. The show was at its best when Pete strayed from the script and just talked baseball. It was nice to see George Foster there. I took my 12 year old baseball loving son and he thought Pete was great and enjoyed all the stories about the big red machine and Pete's hardwork and hustle to get there. The shows ending was awkward and abrupt. All in all a great event that is probably not worth premium seating but an enjoyable evening hearing baseball stories from one the greatest to play the game.

4192 Live is a must see event!

by TracesCowgirlFan on 4/3/13U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

Pete was humorous, animated and classy. I loved hearing his stories, seeing the special video clips, and sharing his laughter. Some people think he's arrogant, but I never saw that side of him. He's blue collar, worked hard to get where he was in baseball, and I'm proud to be a fan. If you like Pete Rose at all, this is a must see show!!!!
