I will love go back again!! I hope will be next year
Lots of excitement & action made for a great show!
The only thing I was a little upset with is the Track Party Tickets. Which I paid $30 for 3 tickets when I could have just brought 3 empty Monster Energy cans. I wish Ticket Master would have been upfront about that.
Track Party was well organized. Racing AX and Lites was tight with less take-outs and more head to head than previous years even though the dirt was sticky hard packed. Picked Level 3 this time but need to move even further to north end to get away from horrible DJ STD and his irritating sound. Only someone from FL would listen to this Pitbullesque techno screech.
This was my first time to Arenacross so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat almost the whole time. I quickly learned what was necessary to know to follow the action. I would definitely recommend this event to everyone!
The event, like any AMA event, was very well run. It started on time, and was a full night of truly action packed racing! I was able to get second row seats for a fraction of the price of your typical Supercross race! I plan on attending from now on!
The race was good but the ventilation sucked and we had to leave early
Show was to short and not enough different races ,it was the same bikes and guys over and over all night , They raced heat, lcq and two mains the same guys in everyone. Would never pay what i did to go back EVER. Plus the food and drinks are so overpriced how can a family even go out and enjoy it. I would rather go pay 10 and watch races all day long in newaygo.
Parking cost more than the tickets. No heat in the building. No announcer for event. Just motorcycles going in a circle
This was amateur day so no big names there but it was a non stop day of racing. Showed up at 1130 and they had already started prelims and raced the whole time with only a 45 min intermission. Racing was good especially in the LCQ and finals. I would definitely recommend this for taking some kids or even yourself if you are looking for a inexpensive way to watch a bunch of racing.
Been going for the last 7 years and this was probably the best racing so far.
I thought the racing program was great. The 2 main events confused me for a bit, until I remembered they do that in AX. My first time to the Tacoma Dome. Big venue for an AX, which allowed for more track options. Crowd was pretty much what you'd expect in Tacoma.
If you have never been to an arena cross, you need to go! There are no bad seats in the Tacoma Dome! Great fun and a show you have to experience! Definitely going back!
Racing was great as always. I've got to hand it to the riders for yet another great show. Especially the jr Lites rider who did the Finish Jump 3 times. I give the riders 5 stars. AMSOIL gets a Minus 3. Do the math! Audio wise, the night was like being a foreign country. Nothing that was said through a mic. could be understood and not a projection system in sight. Is this how AMSOIL treats all the Racing Fans? Is AMSOIL's Audio Video Tech co. incapable of performing checks on sound systems? Maybe their AV is in-house. Either way, Somebody's head needs to roll. Everybody knows the Tacoma dome is archaic. Yet, Black Sabbath blew the doors off the place. If you can't afford your own systems, or can't find a venue that delivers what ticket buyers deserve, get out and stay out!
I found the event entertaining even though I an not a fan of motocross. The Pro Staff were helpful and courteous too.
I love the racing, racing is Awesome. But in between the announcers were speaking, you simply couldn't hear what they were saying. The system wasn't load enough. The bikes were not even moving so it isn't like it was noisy either. It would be nice to hear them so we can listen and figure out exactly what was going on. Otherwise it just a bunch of guys going out and riding their bikes. The Booms were Great!!!, Their memorabilia was pretty much what it was last year. I bought my boy a new toy dirt bike, which was the Same one as Last Year.
First time going to AX. It is fun for cheap entertainment. The track setup was decent and you can see the action from about anywhere in the stands. The sound was horrible, you could not hear the announcer and you had no idea what was going on. There was no display board telling you what was going on. We quickly learned to jump on the free wifi and stream the AX live scoring on our phones so you knew what race was going on and who was in the lead and so forth. So it was really a low budget production. I race locally in the NW and most tracks have better communication as to what's going on! Other than that, it was worth the cheap seats. Parking was easy since the dome was 1/2 full due to each side having no seats but the available seating was crowded. Again, the audio and communication in the stadium was poor. Really unacceptable.
Lots of money being made from beer & T-shirts, tickets etc, but the stars of the show get peanuts. Top prize was $400. Fox sports 1 was there and I bet their production assistant makes more for setting up the camera. Hard to want to support such a disparity. They really need to pay the racers the most, not the least. These guys are risking serious injury... Otherwise it was a good show, lots of fire and explosions and good racing. I'll go again if I hear they're paying the racers more.
Didn't think it would be so boring. Kinda like watching NASCAR just same stuff over and over riding laps. Wouldn't have went if knew
