such an amazing show!!!!!! American Authors, Magic Giant and Public did a phenomenal job!!!

America Authors are so incredibly talented. I love that I can and my 11 year old daughter can both enjoy the same band. All their songs are uplifting and positive. Even though I didn’t know the other two bands playing, my daughter and I were entertained. We really got into Public.

I took my daughter and a friend of mine with special needs to this all ages show. ADA seating needs to be reserved in advance as the Observatory appears to be a stand only venue. Staff were personable and willing to accommodate me if necessary, but the bands were all so good my friend didn’t want to sit. Parking was easy and free with validation. Great venue for those comfortable standing a long time.

We came to see magic giant not American authors. So we were going to do what we usually do in that case-watch the openers and leave. Well they had an interesting format as Magic Giant and American authors both played their own songs and then played together. I think it would have been a great experience if I knew American authors’ music but I don’t. So we had to stay through all the music to see the band we came for. I think it worked for all the people that knew and liked Both bands Public put on a good show and they had a lot of fans in the audience. Underground is always a great venue

I got tickets to see American Authors and they were playing with Magic Giant who I didn't know. I thought for sure we would find the concert a bit of a letdown since they were sharing the stage and set time. But Magic Giant was awesome and had great energy. So did American Authors. The connection between them and American Authors (and the audience) was magnetic. We are now true fans of both!

Well not real happy with the sister Hazel Concert because they were made to perform @ 7:30 an hour prior to the time printed on the tickets. Did not go to see American Authors.

Originally went to see Sister Hazel and they were perfect. Stuck around for American Authors and they put on a great show too! Wasn't familiar but I enjoyed the whole event!

American authors is an amazing alternative rock band who did an amazing show at the hollow they sang their hits and many of their other songs also some cover songs including their title track of thier first album Oh What A Life

There was a smile on my face from the moment the band walked on stage until about an hour after the concert. American Authors create music that you can't get out of your head but not in a bad way. This concert was full of energy, I couldn't stop dancing or singing or screaming or smiling. Best [night] of my life!!!

This show was incredible. The energy was great, and it stayed that way the enitire show! If you have a chance to see them live, TAKE IT!!

American Authors was fantastic! Lots of energy and it was I love how they interacted. The opening act, Ryan Star, was amazing too, even without a band. The crowd wasn't the best, talking through the opener and being rude, and the venue was pretty small and crowded, but I don't have a bad word to say for the bands!

An absolute phenomenal performance from this up and coming band. They already have the skills to work the crowd and incorporated it well into the show. Pflayed the hits and did a good job with a couple of covers. Definitely a must see as the band progresses....

Best concert I've been to in years! The atmosphere was great, the sentimental touch to playing where they started years ago, the sound, and just the group's energy! Great start to their new album!

I had gone to this show not knowing what to expect. it was a tiny arena, but they made the best work of it. very crowd-friendly, and a ton of interaction. it was overall very fun:)

Amazing concert, they put on such a good show and interact with the crowd so much!

I have a twelve year old fan in the house and this absolutely made her night! She loved their first song last year when it came on the radio and has been listening to their album ever since. She was super excited at seeing them here at DuQuoin State Fair. Guys rock, loved the songs they picked to sing and enjoyed the up close seats and we sang along to EVERY song! I would definitely see these guys again!!

It was an amazing show on a not so crowded Tuesday night! American Authors played some songs off their upcoming album (swoon!)! It was a little less intimate than I would like in a show, but we were at a state fair and it is hard to engage everyone sitting on bleachers in a grand stand. But if you are debating whether or not you should see these guys, let me tell you that this is my 4th show of theirs and it is absolutely incredible.

They got the crowd involved the right amount. They were so good and knew how to put on a show. I plan on going to see them again and again.

American Authors did not disappoint!! They had great stage presence & very contagious energy!! They also played songs from their The Blue Pages days, which completely made my night :)
