My 4 year old loved this show. It had great music and energy. I even enjoyed it. My child danced the whole time. The effects of snow, confetti and food made all the kids jump up and down with joy. I would recommend and would take mine back to another show without a doubt.
This was the best show I've seen in all the years I've attended kids events. Loved the music, theme and especially the egg corns thrown out. The streamers and confetti was awesome too. I would see it again if they came back. Way To Go Team..
It was disappointing the change in the time of first performance and then the cancellation of VIP post party activities. Their were no instructions on when or how to get arm bands for the meet and greet. I had to call several times to different numbers to even receive the information. I am not sure all the VIP ticket holders even knew about it. The meet and greet was get the kids in and out as quickly as possible. There was no interaction with characters and picture with only one of them. This was very disappointing.
I had so much fun! There was cannon things that shot off fake plastic food and you got to keep it if you were able to get one. They had streamers, fake snow and confetti fall from the sky at different times which was so cool. Was 5 rows away from the stage and it was the best experience ever. I had never been so close to a stage before. Me and my boyfriend had a bkast. Wish I knew of more events like this to go to.
My granddaugher loved the show and we did too as adults. My only dislike during this event was the vendor and drink line. There is no organization at all. People were pushing each other in the line and disputes about people passing each other. With the amount of cost it takes to purchase tickets, I am sure that the Majestic can afford a way to put either a line tape like the stores have or place workers to keep the line uniformed. This was a horrible event and not good to see children see adults act immature. My only reason for not giving and AMAZING rating.
My son and I both enjoyed this event!! Better than expected. The singing and dancing was cute. Great choice of music. I would definitely recommend this event.
My daughter absolutely loved the show. It was way better than I was expected and will be some wonderful childhood memories for my daughter. Would definitely recommend for young children.
I love the show but the souviners and customer service was awful! The prices were to expensive to buy souvenirs and the women who was selling the items were horrible
The show was great! My son stated the next day he wanted to go back. I surely do hope they return to Houston in the future because we will be there!
Awesome show for kids and there parents! There songs they sang were popular kid friendly pop songs. My daughter especially loved the "snow" and "food" that fell from the sky.
My Husband and I bought these tickets for our grandchildren to see what we thought was going to be a concert from "Alvin and the Chipmunks". We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was more of an interactive play with lots of music and dancing included. Streamers fell from the ceiling to begin the show, there was a confetti "blizzard", and a food fight that included throwing plastic food out into the live audience. Our grandchildren were a little too shy to get up and dance, but there were children in the aisles and across the front of the theater rocking out to many of the songs.
Very cute show..My child was surprised when the chippettes came out. Organized and put together nice
The show was good. Lights flashing to the audience were blinding. I had to close my eyes every time they flashed the lights to the audience which was frequently.
It was a very cute show... my nine year old enjoyed it.. the special effects really spectacular.
The show was precious and more than that, it was so much fun watching my 7 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter's expressions when they realized that this was a live show. They loved every second of it.
Anytime you get parents and kids to dance in the aisles, you must be doing something right.
The concert was so fun. I wasn't prepared for a full show, but they did and it was great.

Maybe my expectations were too high? I mean, it is a kids show....but, it's not a small time product (Alvin and the Chipmunks). Overall, just felt very low budget - including acting. I thought being up front (second row) would be better, but, it was worse becuase you could see just how creepy the chipmunks looked up close. I was there with my 5 year old. He was just happy to get some fake snow falling on him. Lastly (and I'm not sure if this review goes to Mahaffey), but - we did the VIP package - which was downgraded to a photo op last minute - and, it was just that. And it was just he and I, so I had to have a random person take our picture on my phone. Would I recommend it? No, just can't. First disappointing visit to Mahaffey.
My Mother and I took my 4.5 year old daughter. She was fascinated by seeing the Chipmunks and especially the chipettes live on stage. I paid for the VIP pass so she could meet them after the show...the only thing I'd recommend to production is that the meet and greet not pull you in and out in under a minute having paid $100 per ticket. The show, however, was fabulous and we all loved it. Would take her again....she's even now decided to be Jeanette for Halloween. :-) If it comes to your town, buy tickets for sure, but maybe pass on the VIP pricing for such a short meet and greet time.
