ALONZO BODDEN IN CONCERT:
Towering over the crowd at 6-foot-4, comedian Alonzo Bodden is big guy -- and he's got a huge sense of humor to match. Ticket buyers don't stand a chance of keeping a straight face as the former Last Comic Standing champion whips out smart jokes with sharp wit, quick comedic timing, and infectious enthusiasm. Bodden is an astoundingly keen comic who incorporates current events, politics, pop culture, and social issues into his routine with a perfect blend of insight and humor. As one of the business's busiest and most in-demand comedic personalities, Boden never fails to disappoint with his hilarious shows on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Alonzo Bodden grew up in Queens, NY and discovered a knack for comedy in his late '20s while working as an aviation mechanic in Los Angeles. After teaching a class in aerospace mechanics and unearthing his talent for public speaking and making people laugh, he quit his job and decided to pursue comedy professionally. After years performing on the club circuit around Los Angeles and working as a doorman at the Laugh Factory, he was invited to join the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. In 2004 he caught his big break on the second season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, where he finished as the runner-up. Following the release of his critically acclaimed comedy DVD Tall, Dark, And Funny, Bodden returned to the show the following seasons and cinched the championship. He has since acted in TV roles on Showtime's Californication and ABC's The Neighbors, co-hosted Inside The Vault on WGN America, and appeared on late night shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He is also a frequent guest on The Adam Carolla Show, a panelist on the NPR news quiz Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!, and a comedic panelist on the Game Show Network's Mind of A Man. Among his recorded releases are the 2010 concert special Who's Paying Attention? and the 2013 standup CD He Had Me At Black.

Alonso was funny, personable, witty, and hilarious. He did a great job. I would absolutely see him again.
I had heard but never seen this person Alonzo Bodden in person before, But I give him 5 Stars because he was great and I would go see him again. A GREAT NIIGHT OUT
Alonzo was hilarious as usual I would go see him live again whenever he comes back into town and bring as many friends as I could. He is worth watching again and again.
We don't get to go out very often but decided to go see a comedian the day before new years eve. I actually never heard of Alonzo before but he was VERY funny!! My husband and I laughed until we cried! I thought it was a great value and will definitely go see another comedian there again soon.
I thought Frances was great! Her dance "moves" coming onto the stage were so funny and warmed all of us up a lot quicker than a few one liners. I loved her Happy Hour Mommy take and wished she would do more of that as there were a lot of Mom's I think, in the crowd. Very funny stuff. She doesn't need to get too edgy, she has a girl next door with an edge personality and look and is genuinely funny. Loved her boob routine - she should have done that mid-way or near the beginning. Very, very funny. Alonzo was hilarious!! Seemed like his routine was not rehearsed, which made it even more funny! I liked his slow walk around the stage, big dude but very real and very aware of the humour in daily life. I laughed a lot and loved his routine. Great night overall!!
Oh wow! He was great! I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt ! Had a few people throw him off track and the way he handled it was a hoot! I hope he comes back soon.
